Earth Day Festival @ Mission San Luis Rey

The Earth Day Festival hosted by Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, California is poised to become the family friendly event of the year to celebrate Mother Earth. A new Master Plan authored for the green renovation and development of the 210 year old historical mission has just been launched. The implementation of the Master Plan over the next 10 years will have a positive impact on the coming century at the Mission. A New Leaf, the Earth Day 2009 celebration will serve as a venue for the public to be educated, get inspired, promote community involvement, instigate action, and enjoy family. This “green” event will not only showcase the partnerships between the community and business but also the steps that can be taken to preserve our historical landmarks in a sustainable manner.
