Tomorrow morning, July 8 – Energy Independence Day - Boone will be appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America to talk about the one year anniversary of the Pickens Plan and the current state of energy legislation.

Comment by Steven Fried on July 7, 2009 at 5:06pm: I'm sorry but because of the type of constant negative news coverage that FOX-TV permeates, I will not turn on that TV station. Repeatedly I have tested by viewing two side by side news reports that were showing in my local gym. FOX-TV has repeatedly negatively twisted the report. I'm in favor of this Pickens Plan, and all I can say is be careful.

You can watch that. If you can't watch it on TV, you can watch it online.

We are here for Picken's Plan, not to debate over some news channels legitimacy.
And plus, we are merely using FOX to broadcast Picken's Plan, Mr.Pickens himself will be there, so twisted story or not, he will be delivering the goods.

Comment by sharon bell on July 7, 2009 at 7:17pm: My son who works in the gas fields of Wyo tells me that gas coming from the Middle east has dropped to $2.00/barrel making producing it here at home un-profitable. This has caused lay-offs contribuiting to unemployment here in our country. Wait until they have us hooked on cheap gas, they will then raise the price which will be helpful but expensive as the energy companies here at home must again gear up.
