Get Green Racing is happy to announce an outstanding opportunity.

"Get Green Racing" is currently seeking sponsors that share the same earth-friendly objectives. NASCAR'S only green theme team.
About Get Green Racing: The “Get Green Racing” Partnership was formed to create the first comprehensive environmentally- friendly NASCAR team. The goal is to bring environmental awareness not only to the participants but more importantly to 75 million brand-loyal NASCAR fans through the promotion and sale of green products and services.

Green Racing has developed a motorsports marketing plan for Green and Earth friendly sponsors that allows them to have a full season (35 race 10 month long program) in NASCAR, at a greatly reduced financial burden to each company involved in the program. This will allow each company to promote and market there services to the more then 75 million NASCAR fans.

As the second most popular form of motorsports in America, the NASCAR Nationwide Series features 35 points events at 26 tracks – including events in Montreal. The NASCAR Nationwide Series brings together a thrilling combination of up-and-coming drivers and established veterans. This highly competitive environment provides an additional source of excitement that complements our other national series, making it an important part of the NASCAR experience.

Fan base size: 75 million brand loyal fans
On television: #2 motorsports series on television
TV audience: 2006 was the 2nd most viewed season in history
Attendance: An average of 60,000+ fans attended each NASCAR Nationwide Series event in 2006
Marketing: 10-month racing season is one of the longest of all major U.S. sports, creating sustained marketing opportunities
Brand building: Fortune 500 firms rely on the NASCAR Nationwide Series
An evolving property: 2008 – coverage on ESPN 2 and ABC, along with SIRIUS Satellite Radio.

Get Green Racing is excited to be moving this forward.

“It is time that a race team is not only dedicated to win but, also to make a real change in the way that we impact our planet," said race team owner Frank Cicci, “this is why we are taking a green approach to all of our actions from the garage to the track and working to promote earth friendly sponsors with the race team. Any small difference we can make in the lives of our fans is worth it to ensure the future of the sport”.

I'm ready to promote T. Boone Pickens Plan now.

Since we have no way adequate to store electrical energy, someone will have to explain low the inherent limitations of renewable resources, i.e., no solar at night or overcast/cloudy day, no wind enegry in calm or low conditions, will be overcome. From my viewpoint, nuclear is the only presently technical feasible solution.

Friends, when considering the costs of moving toward alternative cleaner energy sources perhaps WE fail to count in the costs of illness and disability caused by dirty energy use. Truck and bus drivers are among those who often develop lung diseases while exposed to the soot caused by dirty energy sources. Therefore, I do urge public policy decision makers to consider requiring cleaner emission requirements for trucks and for inner city distribution trucks: Mr. Picken's idea of fueling with natural gas is worth considering.

I received this invitation and while this is well-intentioned, I am completely sick of listening to these politicians. What in the world do these people know or care about enery except for getting re-elected!

When there is a good panel of business leaders, university researchers, and other research folks, I will be very interested. Then we know something will actually get accomplished, have ideas and goals that can get done in human working hours, and relate to reality.

Thank goodness the folks that were the leaders in the computer revolution did not have to ask Congress for permission - we would still be using IBM 360s and trying to bail out the people who paid too much for them!
Vance L. Heistand Comment by Vance L. Heistand on February 20, 2009 at 8:45pm
I hope to not have any problems with atending, but you never know
when work gets in the way. Im hoping to get a grant going soon
and get somthing reely started here in Michigan, now that congs.
Mark Shauer is on the ball and has govn. Grandholm in the
wright track on geting the net mettering turned around so it will
help get more interested in, in-home power generation.
It will go over alot better when people know they will get something back when they are puting power into the grid, and get paid for it
or get a credit back against the gas portion of thier consumers bill
or what ever their utility prvider is. So if any of you that have any
ideas on getting a grant or business grant financing; let me know
because any ideas are appreciated. thank's, Van Heistand

I am intrigued by the mix of the political drawn to and run off.
I admit I changed my login name away from my given name bc I see that many harsh voices have come here to play. I beleive the no bs attitude transends political ideas and so urge here and now those who lean righter than me not to loose focus and apply themselves toward our mutual goals, we are all here to step up now.

I am all for a comprehensive energy plan. The table of participants, except for T. Boone Pickens, is the reason we are in this crisis. Why can't we find some people that really can solve the energy problem?
