If Senator McCain or Senator Obama have a local campaign headquarters near you, please print a copy of the petition by clicking here and deliver a hard copy to their campaign office. We need to make sure both candidates hear from us. So if both candidates happen to have an office near you, please deliver a copy to each of them! You will get 50 MyEnergy points for each candidate office you deliver the petition to.

You can find your nearest campaign office by clicking on the following links:

Senator Obama's Local Campaign Headquarters

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD A PRINTABLE COPY OF THE PETITION

We realize it's a lot of pages to print. But that's a really good thing - it will be hard for the candidates to ignore us if they receive a copy of our petition with over 100,000 signatures at every one of their campaign offices around the country!

Here's what you need to do to get your 50 MyEnergy points for delivering the petition: When you deliver the petition, take a picture in front of campaign headquarters holding the petition and send it to us so we can feature it here on the website! Email your photos to us at myenergy@pickensplan.com.

The Petition Delivery in Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Hawaii is great! Special thank-you to Randall Johnson & Austin Evans in Utah, Steve Metcalf in Reno, Nevada, Patrick Llewellyn & Peyton Alaska in Las Vegas, Jim Tigue in Arizona and Marti Petrides in Hawaii. What an amazing team of people! Jim mentioned that the McCain Southwest head quarters in Phoenix Arizona was "happy to accept the petition."

Dear Friends

I took the petition to Obama & McCain office in Portland Maine on sat I got the same thing from Obama office but I told the Campaign Manager he would get a kick out of this and he took the Petition, I told him Im just the delevery guy Mike Anthony The Sheetrocker :o} and his job was to just let Obama know the Pickens Plan Army all 1.4 Million of us are just asking him a question. Now he may have toss them in the Trash I don't know but the message was delivered.
Im tring to find out if it made any kind of a differance.

The main thing I guess is that we all just keep doing what we are doing its not all for nothing.

Keep up the good work Friends

Hindsight is always 20/20. I think that the national leaders of both parties will know that the plan was delivered to all of the offices that it was because it is the responsibility of local leaders to keep regional and national leaders advised of what goes on locally.

As far as wasting paper....if you use 2 sheets of toilet paper instead of one per wipe aren't you wasting paper? Please...

Interesting that there were questionable signatures. Now you see how the Obama got campaign donations from similar people and how Acorn registered Mickey Mouse lol Such things can't be helped and there are a lot of angry, disillusioned (and/or childish) people out there who love to do that kind of thing.

All in all I appreciate the courage of all the people who went outside their own comfort zone of daily life to participate in the effort to deliver these petitions and I think that it has been a success and you should be proud of yourselves for trying to make a difference in the world.

I delivered to Iowa campaign HQ for McCain and Obama. The McCain campaign let me get several shots of the delivery and commented on how surprised they were with the number of signers we had on the petition. They seemed very interested and asked a lot of questions. The Obama campaign for some reason didn’t want photos without pre-approval, but were nice and took the petition. They too were very impressed with the numbers and they were happy to take it. If they are still surprised at how many American voters care about this issue, all the more reason we need to keep up the pressure!!!

I delivered the "What's Your Plan" Petition to Senator Obama's office in Knoxville, Iowa. I also delivered it to Senator Obama's office in Indianola, Iowa, as well as Senator McCain's office in Indianola, Iowa. The teams at each office were really receptive, and it felt great to show the campaigns how we feel about the Pickens Plan!

I delivered the petition here in Michigan, had a lot of fun doing it too and met some very nice people. McCain staffer Linda Rex gratiously agreed to have her picture taken with me along side a cardboard cut out of Senator McCain in the McCain Great Lakes Headquarters. Linda, as it turned out, is a huge T.Boone and Pickens Plan fan. We're everywhere!!!! The Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, Saul Anzuis, was scheduled to stop by later that afternoon and they told me they would get the petition into his hands....I hope they did anyway. I really wanted to wait around and hand it to him myself but I had to get going to my next stop.

Next stop was Obama Michigan HQ in Detroit at the Detroit Federation of Teachers building. They ushered me to the "Media Office" on the second floor where we were able to deliver the petition to Jenna Pilat, Policy Director for Campaign for Change.

Tip...to lessen the "mass" I printed off the first 20 pages, and put the rest on a CD. It was a great tip by one of the folks on your rapid response team and the idea got the "wink" from Pickens Plan. Hard to "go green" when you're killing off all the trees. I'm sure the Campaign folks appreciated it too.

I heard and read the posts about some of the "not so nice" names included in the petition. It is unfortunate that HQ didn't edit those out but I have absolutely no regrets in delivering it.
