Hi David. Natural gas is a transition fuel to the next generation combustible, hopefully hydrogen. There are vast national reserves of it that need to be tapped and a distribution system needs to be established so it's readily available on our roads and highways. It's now about $2.00-2.60 a gallon and it's much cleaner than gasoline or diesel. We need a combustible fuel because electric just doesn't have the power or endurance needed for long drives or heavy duty transportation. A hybrid that uses electric and NG power would be perfect for automobiles, it would give us the option to change fuels to keep the NG prices down should they rise dramatically. There are many companies in the supply end so I foresee more competition than we have with oil now. This is just my opinion of course. Regards, Fred DC
