After having watched the SNL skit on Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric, I was intrigued. After having watched the actual interview, I felt upset, with a little humor mixed in. Poor Sarah Palin got thrown to the wolves. Similar to when your girlfriend asks if she's got a big butt, Katie Couric asked loaded questions. The biggest mistake Sarah made was allowing the interview to continue.

Katie Couric: Sarah, could you give me one example of a vegetable that starts with the letter X?

Sarah Palin: Uh, gee, Katie, there's lots of 'em out there, all of 'em. You know, it's all about the American people.

Katie Couric gave more to Obama's campaign than Obama ever could, this late in the game.

I notice nobody is pointing out that Obama claimed he would capture and kill Osama Bin Laden. There is something politically incorrect in that statement. "So, Obama, will you use a knife or a gun?"

Marlene,
I beg your pardon. I happen to own my own home. I chose to leave my job and be a stay at home mother. I happen to be a Physician's Assistant, who assisted in Surgery. I happen to think that it is very IMPORTANT to be a stay at home mother. It is better for the child. When a child is born, it is our job to take care of them, teach them, love them, nurture them, etc. When a child is entering a school, it has been proven, that a child who has a parent stay home with them the first five years, that they will do better in school. However, I understand for some people, that is not possible. In today's world, most families have to have both parents out making money to support the family. I thank God everyday, for my blessing to be a stay at home mother and that my husband makes plenty of money so I can do just that.

All I was saying earlier, that Palin's child would require more time and responsibility, since she has a special needs child. I am by no means knocking her for that. The first five years of a child's life are CRUTIAL. A healthy child needs so very much from it's mother and even more so, a special needs child. I just don't think it is fair to the child to put your career first. With God being number one, the next thing on the list SHOULD be FAMILY. I feel that her priorities are not in order. She also has a Grandchild on the way. Her daughter is really going to need her mother's help. She is just a child herself. I just think that she should be at home taking care of her family.

As for the homless person's mentality, What is that supposed to mean??? Does it mean that I cannot think for myself?? Does it mean that my opinions don't matter?? Your comment just didn't make any sense!!!!!
She is not qualified to be "one heartbeat" away from the Presidency. That IS the measure...period.
SJC,

In my book, Obama is even less qualified than Palin to be "one heartbeat" away from the presidency. Oops, I guess he is only one vote away.

Ken Goss
Palin proved she's more qualified than 'bobble-ears' last night, that is for CERTAIN.
"Bobble-ears" has a Harvard degree. He can pronounce the word "nuclear" correctly unlike Palin who says it just like "W" (new-cue-lar). "Bobble-Ears was also chosen by America as the Dem nominee from an outstanding pool of candidates and will most likely be your president in just a few weeks so show some respect. If you are going to criticize Barack, use arguments with substance instead of shallow comments that show your lack of class. I presume your anatomy is perfect?
Actually, I'd presume his lower anatomy is woefully inadequate, which would go a long way towards explaining his need to strain for something as lame as "bobble-ears"... and that demonstrates a cerebral weakness as well. Guess this guy is just inadequate overall, top to bottom.
Okay Beth, check out my other posts, we have a TON of factual confirmed substance for you to review.
Well of course my anatomy is perfect! (smile)
obama can't find his butt w/ either hand. if people haven't noticed he is just saying what other people are telling him to say . you can tell when he speaks unscripted. he's going on the assumtion[ which is a very liberal trait] that his promise of change will win the vote. america doesn't need his kind of change. more give aways. it's called shoving what they believe is the american dream down peoples throats. his vision of having 1 million cars on the road will take 10 years, yea 10 years. this is what he told boone pickens in a private meeting. [national press club] is where i got that info. straight from boones' mouth. real vision it would take 2500 years to replace all the vehickes. does he really realize in a good year we sell 17 million cars?it truely makes you wonder if they aren't so self rightous they just assume everything and spew off the top of your head. it would take 15 years to get 1/3[80 million]of the cars [gas burning] off the road. and that would be a very aggressive plan. and he sees a million in ten years. well i'll let you decide .
You go boy!....
Wow, you are so smart. You should have run for president!
When McCain is scripted, he can be funny. When he's not, it's the same small set of ineffective and redundant quips played oer and over ad nauseum.

DId you watch the video of the dialogue that REALLY happened with Joe the (not-a-)Plumber? View the whole five or six minutes of it? Obama answered the man's question quite intelligently, thoroughly and reassuringly.

A "very liberal trait", huh? First you define "liberal" and then we'll see how far up your ass YOUR head is. Is it Liberal or Conservative for people to want the government out of their personal choices? Conservative, of course. Why, then, are all the self-labeled Conservatives so eager to have the government in everyone ELSE's choices?

Then you prove your cerebral inabilities and say that it would take 15 years on an aggressive plan? Most of the vehicles on the road today are less than 15 years old. My '93 is a dinosaur. So replacing the cars at the same rate they were already sold, this is an "aggressive" plan?

When you get enough grey cells firing at the same time, you may have a momentary flash that some generously call a clue. Meanwhile, leave the thinking to your betters and get back to work on filling in a proper profile on here.
