After having watched the SNL skit on Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric, I was intrigued. After having watched the actual interview, I felt upset, with a little humor mixed in. Poor Sarah Palin got thrown to the wolves. Similar to when your girlfriend asks if she's got a big butt, Katie Couric asked loaded questions. The biggest mistake Sarah made was allowing the interview to continue.

Katie Couric: Sarah, could you give me one example of a vegetable that starts with the letter X?

Sarah Palin: Uh, gee, Katie, there's lots of 'em out there, all of 'em. You know, it's all about the American people.

Katie Couric gave more to Obama's campaign than Obama ever could, this late in the game.

I notice nobody is pointing out that Obama claimed he would capture and kill Osama Bin Laden. There is something politically incorrect in that statement. "So, Obama, will you use a knife or a gun?"

I talked to the Obama campaign today. The answer to the question is Barack will use a Literary Sword.

How can Palin answer a loaded question if she doesn't even know what a loaded question is?

And yes the title is correct, Palin is not as dumb as I thought... haha ;)
That's pretty much dead-on Colt. Clear reading shows that. Biden had no real alternative energy program or preferences even, until the Presidential campaign started. McCain was on this pledge and drive for renewable alternative energy back in 2002, and then really geared it up in 2005. He only voted to stop and re-write off a couple of Alt-E. bills that he put down statements and reports saying, the bill as written did not do nearly enough and it was just fluff paperwork

Oddly enough, if you see the one video-taped meeting between Pickens and McCain from July, Pickens agreed on that point.

Obama never spoke the words until late 2007. Nice timing for the party crasher. He posted one official complaint against big Oil only in mid-2006. Check the record folks.

McCain is not moving left, and as of today, economists reported this very morning (CNN News 9:00 AM Wrap up Show and Fox News Show-after-the-show 8:30 AM) that under Obama's very latest tax proposals and promises, the year after his election and every year thereafter, 63% of all Americans who don't pay taxes already, will get somewhere between a $5K and $10K check each year from the IRS if all of Obama's spending and credits are in effect. So in effect, wealth re-distribution in a major governement-theft way, will tax the most affluent 5% of Americans to pay for all of that, and that tax violators who have not been paying their taxes in past years already, will receive a check from the government, because Obama knows they need this.

Don't believe me, this will be re-run all day long on both channels. One of Obama's favorite cited economists in London, England, has weighed in on his current policies and promises, and confirmed he believes the same as reported by both news agencies this morning.

Even at CBS News today, the moderator for the next and last debate has promised to narrow down both men to exact specifics on how they expect their proposals to work and make the equations solid. He even went as far as to say, "Senator Obama has more to explain on how his positions and promised can work for the American people and economy with his last public speech on projected tax credits and relief checks."

Obama plans to rob most to pay the anti-work percentage of the public, McCain just needs to let the system ride and don't provide any more bail-out measures. Rangel, Frank and Obama, hell, they don't even need Pelosi to finish off the entire country. With a tax rate of about 59% on anyone making over $200K per year, not even the $250K per year Obama promises, when you combine income taxes, estate taxes, capital gains taxes, and more, (read the approved proposals, 59% is the LOWER LEVEL total of projected taxes) everyone will suffer.

Even if you just mosey around with the "lesser of two evils" mentatlity, McCain is the far safer and more promising choice.

Or you could attend the Acorn meeting with Obama before he actually is sworn in, as ACORN helps dictate the policies and directions of our next President. This is spelled out in Obama's own words.
"...ACORN helps dictate the policies and directions of our next President. This is spelled out in Obama's own words..."

No way! They are a quasi-militant board of directors for advancing the opportunities for poor, disadvantaged minorities. How can they speak for the vast majority of the Middle Class? ie, white anglo saxon Protestants? I being one, myself. (or close to it, not anglo but german and polish descent). Not Jewish. I am a Presbyterian via baptism, the sprinkling on the head kind, not dunking. I have confessed my sins as a sinner and been redeemed in Jesus' blood. Hallelujah! All Jews can convert, you just have to get them in a really bad place and tell them the truth, they have the choice. They know they need to choose Life. lol, that means they must follow the Ten Commandments et al.
I'm also Presbyterian, Catholic by birth Debra. and ACORN is as scary as it gets, hopefully, no where near the White House.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO WATCH THIS VIDEO. I put it together, with admittedly, some pictures just for fun and humor jabbing Obama where he deserves some jabs.

BUT MAKE SURE YOU LISTEN CLOSELY TO THE AUDIO !!! It was taken from Howard Stern's Show, (Yes old ultra-liberal, once-in-a-great-while conservative Howie Stern.)

He pulled a stunt in Harlem, indicative of the entire country. LISTEN TO THE AUDIO AND READ THE FINAL CREDIT!! This is all true. This enlightening stunt was pulled by a group of 14 mid-sized corporate employers recently in Texas, only to enlighten and make some very ignorant employees think about wasting their votes, not knowing what in the hell they are doing. The responses in Texas were damn-near exact mirrors to the responses Stern's interviewer got in Harlem.

This is why the truth is so important.

Listen, read the last credit, I had to throw this together late last night. The audio is authentic, unedited, in full context, REAL.

Terrence….it appears the American public is not buying some of the Obama/Biden character attacks you and other McCain supporters have posted recently. Apparently, “Man of Many Houses” McCain is falling further behind in recent polls.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/14/opinion/polls/main4522273...

“The Obama-Biden ticket now leads the McCain-Palin ticket 53 percent to 39 percent among likely voters, a 14-point margin. One week ago, prior to the Town Hall debate that uncommitted voters saw as a win for Obama, that margin was just three points.

McCain's campaign strategy may be hurting hurt him: Twenty-one percent of voters say their opinion of the Republican has changed for the worse in the last few weeks. The top two reasons cited for the change of heart are McCain's attacks on Obama and his choice of Sarah Palin as running mate.”

Here are the real concerns Americans have - McCain/Palin = 4 more years of George Bush

According to the government’s own figures, the following have increased during the Bush administration’s tenure:

The number of uninsured, unemployed and underemployed; Americans in poverty; CEO salaries; pollution of our air and water; opium production in Afghanistan; the national debt; record oil and gasoline prices this year; and home foreclosures.

The following have decreased:

The value of the dollar; the amount of taxes paid by the largest companies; middle class incomes adjusted for inflation; 401K and retirement incomes, plunging home values, the Stock market, your civil rights as an American; jobs; retention of military personnel; military induction standards; and America’s standing in the world, morally and economically.

And you say, "four more years"? Not likely to happen, Bud.
".....McCain's campaign strategy may be hurting hurt him: Twenty-one percent of voters say their opinion of the Republican has changed for the worse in the last few weeks......."

I believe that this is correct. It may be too late for him to recover from this also. I think the main thing on the American public's mind is the economy. We are all preoccupied with losses in our retirement funds, job security, credit availability, interest rates, etc.. Some are seething at the crooks who contribuited to our current economic mess and want prosecutions. Character attacks at this point serve no purpose to either side. The side that ignores that issue and just addresses the major concerns of the electorate will win, IMHO
DESPERATION, that is what it is for Democrats to say "McCain is 4 more years of George W. Bush".

Too bad McCain's idiot campaign managers don't point that out much, a definite flaw in my preferred candidate to be sure.

The late Tim Russert, my favorite Democrat for his open impartiality, equal examination of all facts, claims and positions made in politics, especially during eletion times, made one very obvious, honest and important statement in conjunction with Matt Lauer and Tim Scarborough (MSNBC) one morning about 1 week before he died on the TODAY SHOW.

Russert: "Matt, I really can't believe the Democrats will continue to try and paint John McCain as another term of George Bush. When you examine the records on all contested votes on major policy, the war, economics and matters of state, McCain is clearly his own man and not swayed by any of the persuasion tactics or voting patterns of his president. He has a clear record of being a reformer, often times opposing, clearly, with both Democrats and Republicans on his side, George W. Bush."

Lauer: "I can see how the Democrats may have to change their approach. Tim Scarborough is in from MSNBC this morning to join Tim and myself. Tim, do you see this the same way, can the Democrats get away with trying to paint John McCain as 'more of the same with George Bush' ? "

Scarborough: "No, I don't see how they can, McCain's record is pretty clear, he's certainly not the same as George Bush, and Democrats should not try to put him in that light. They'll have to attack him on opposing sides of the issues, and make the War in Iraq a central target."

This is from the transcript of that day's Today Show. Go get it yourself. When Russert died, something at the heart of NBC news died with him.

Oh yes, impartiality, and TRUTH.

I miss Tim Russert.

You all should too.
"....Oh yes, impartiality, and TRUTH......

Integrity is the most expensive thing that you may ever have to pay for------and it's very rare these days.
INDEED. If we argue about it, lets just stick to the facts. That's all I ever ask, Integrity must be maintained.
Those who can't speak it,....gag.
Tencity to be certain sir, but honesty and integrity, that for some alarming reason you cannot see.
