Brian, Alaska has 2 representatives on the League of Conservation Voters "Dirty Dozen" list, none on our list.
Jim, In addition to the list of 50 members of Congress, I think we are up to 10 governors now. I have made my best unofficial, unsanctioned attempt at keeping all of this together at Politicians and Policymakers for an Energy Independence Plan. It is organized into states (view all discussions and choose sort by newest created) and provides links to contact representatives who have signed our pledge. It could be a Project Vote Smart type tool if it got some use and attention. Feel free to join and post relevant information about your representatives.
I added your letter to the Alaska discussion, which so far has produced nothing but a list of offenders. Think I'll read the Renewable Energy Atlas of Alaska until I find some good news coming out of there. Enjoy.
I just sent this email to Begich and Berkowitz. Good Luck in Alaska!!
I was told that by a member at Pickensplan.com that you and (Mark Begich/Ethan Berkowitz) would be good alternatives to Young and Stevens. I have posted links to both of you in the group Politicians and Policymakers for an Energy Independence Plan at Pickensplan.com now that you are on our radar screen. 50 members of Congress and 10 governors have signed T. Boone Pickens Energy Independence Pledge at http://www.pickensplan.com/act/, and I would like to add you to that list.
