Cool stuff? Are you kidding or do you really have no clue how much Tesla influenced electronics and communications? Edison, Morgan, Westinghouse, all contributed to the suppression of Tesla's technology. The man was genius, and deserves a place along side of Maxwell, Newton, Faraday, but certainly not Einstein who Tesla was determined was wrong.

The pack follows where the media leads, and those that control the media will determine in which direction to lead. It was how the Federal Reserve Act was passed and the propaganda used to make the public think it was the solution to all of their financial problems. Little did they realize that it would be the root cause of all financial woes in the world today.

A system where world banks operate under the guise of government central banks, with the authority to print as much currency as the government needs, charging the governments interest on that money. A system that determines the buying power of currency and then pretend that some complex marketing of currency and interest rates have something to do with it.

And no, I don't think DaVinci would have built aeroplanes nor revolutionize farming. He would have found a better way to achieve the same result without using a noisy and smelly fuel burner.

The auto makers can make better vehicles but they don't unless there are mandates and regulations placed upon them to do so. Power companies as a whole, are not really all that enthusiastic about renewable power sources, coming out against it more than implementing it. And the oil companies just get richer.

Oh and you are also wrong about your comments not being well received, because I checked out your page and saw some of the same amazing devices being built all over the world, yet it is not shown on World News nightly. I am disappointed in that you would not be raising awareness of what can be done, instead of offering proof of what is already well established at the problems we face in America today.

It was nothing less than arrogance of the wealthy, selling out to them by the people we elected to represent us, and then asking us to foot the bill to bail out these thieves with our tax dollars after having depleted our investments and retirement funds.

Those like you sir, are really a disappointment because you do know better, yet choose to criticize those that want to be positive about changes to benefit everyone. The greedy what's in it for me philosophy was not the American dream, nor is it the American way. Our borders were opened to all who sought equal opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills and be rewarded for the benefits they provided to all of the people. Tailors, bakers, carpenters, masons, all came here to build with quality and durability. I remember passing places as an adult, that were places my father build when I was a child. It was pride that swelled in me when I overheard others say what a great job that was.

You are QUITE wrong here Fred and an in-depth or even casual search of the historical archives of business evolution over the last 250 years will bear this out. NO ONE creates anything for the "FUN" of it. Especially if the something is complicated. One of the names you mention in your post is Edison. You need only to read his Corporations manifesto to learn that indeed, it was the profit motive and ONLY the profit motive, that propelled him in his work.

His selection of projects were SPECIFICALLY chosen on the basis of being able to quickly be brought to market for commercialization. This methodology caused Edison to miss out on several ideas that he felt there was no market for, or it would take too long to get the details right. Someone ELSE picked that low lying fruit.

I have been following you with this Tracy stuff and you SEEM to be one stuck on the conspiracy card of life. ALL of your comments appear to be in the vein of others CONSPIRING to STOP others from achieving their dreams. Even Tracy has adopted this modis operandi as his reason for failure. From his pen comes the statement I (and a few others) have "conspired" to prevent him from achieving is dream. Not true. ALL I have done is see to it that he goes about pursuing his dream on the same level playing field as all others who wish to fund their projects through public solicitation.

Since you brought up the subject of the "American Way" as a basis of your argument for Tracy's pursuit of his dream. let me just say that there is NOTHING more American than soliciting money for the advancement of ones ideas. But, buried in that "American Way" is a thing called American Law. All I am doing is seeing to it that Tracy adheres to it. We have all read on this forum, and in the papers, about how people have been p*****' in their beer over the scandals on Wall Street and how they have affected us. Well, most of that angst can be leveled at the fact that people in position of authority and responsibility KNEW of these shenanigans and kept quite. Tracy is a small fry but to permit him to continue to "solicit" the sale of unregistered securities on this site would have been tantamount to siding WITH HIM on an illegal scheme to defraud others on this board. I won’t be a part of it.

As to Tracys problems, they are none of my making. As to his dreams, again, they are all his. All I am saying is do it by the book. If my pointing out his error in soliciting money on this forum has caused him to fold shop well I put it to you sir, how much of an idea was it to begin with?

Criticism is NOT the cause of failure of great ideas, only the failure of the individual to continue to pursue it, is the proximate cause of failure. Edison was criticized from MANY different camps in his time. The GREASTEST criticism came from the rejection by his OWN experimental results on the electric light bulb. Time and time again, one idea after the other was put to the experimenters board only to have it fail. More criticism...from the very attempts themselves were to come. Edison, it is said, knew (and documented) 10,000 different ways how NOT to build a light bulb.

No, Mr Mars, criticism in not the handmaiden of failure. Failure is. AND, when a LOSER fails, they cannot legitimately leave the playing field without letting the whole audience know WHO was responsible for that failure. In THIS case apparently, it was the guy in the peanut gallery handling out free microwave popcorn (at least I found a suitable USE for the machine) who was the direct and proximate cause.

DD maybe you would care to respond to this, you attacked me in blogs I could not see, or respond to. I am not a coward, I dont knife people in the back or kick them when they are down. I like a straight up fight. just giving you your notice.

First and foremost, at least get your historical facts correct. Edison is not someone that I consider more than a tinkerer with persistence and backers that make money off of his conniving ways. That sir, is not the American way, but the ways of those greedy bankers, who made money regardless of who won or lost the war.

And please at least have the decency to address remarks that I made and not what you imagine that I mean. We here on Pickens Plan are conspirators, conspiring to bring a better way of life to all Americans. If you think that is too lofty a goal for you to achieve, then please leave your whining and complaining about laws, and who is conning who, to your raves on Above Top Secret.

The reason for the Pickens Plan is to bring energy consciousness to the public, to seek exposure in the media, to get the government to stop throwing good money at bad ideas. To finance the projects that will get America true energy independence.

I feel it would be in the best interests of all concerned if you bring something positive to the forum, that we can all align with as part of a solution.
Fred,

I'm not sure how you're helping the situation here by bringing up a bunch of crack-pot scientists (besides Tesla). Keep that garbage on the ATS.com website where it belongs with all the other idiots who failed science in high school.

Honestly, I really can't believe that people buy into that fringe science crap. It must be because they don't understand math and science, yet they want to, but can't. Oh well, that's not my problem :P
Hey Fred,

Yes, I have a pretty good idea about what Tesla did... Westinghouse *bought* his patents -- hardly an act of suppression. The grace of Tesla was to identify a *SIMPLE* solution to a complex problem -- a noteworthy accomplishment for any task.

But we're all over the place here. Tailors, bakers, carpenters, masons, all work for $$$, not for fun. They follow they do not lead. The bankers and the oil barons are easy to hate, but only because they are restricted from competition.

You want to be a baker -- fine open a bakery -- sink or swim.
You want to open a bank -- good freakin luck -- you're stuck with the same old stale choices

A mason can go dig up any old rock and place them anywhere...
You wanna dig for coal or oil and the government crawls up your ___.

It's all about $$$, influence, and power.

"Those like you sir, are really a disappointment because you do know better, yet choose to criticize those that want to be positive about changes to benefit everyone."

Please go see my post on James' thread about suppressing DD's opinions. This board is awash with what I describe as posts of the 2nd kind.

The Light is Green!
LoL Paul alot of what we have now is based on tesla's works. Even my stuff. maybe you all should read this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla

Immediately after Tesla's death became known, the government's Alien Property Custodian office took possession of his papers and property, despite his US citizenship. His safe at the hotel was also opened. At the time of his death, Tesla had been continuing his work on the teleforce weapon, or death ray, that he had unsuccessfully marketed to the US War Department. It appears that his proposed death ray was related to his research into ball lightning and plasma, and was imagined as a particle beam weapon. The US government did not find a prototype of the device in the safe. After the FBI was contacted by the War Department, his papers were declared to be top secret. The so-called "peace ray" constitutes a part of some conspiracy theories as a means of destruction. The personal effects were seized on the advice of presidential advisers; J. Edgar Hoover declared the case most secret, because of the nature of Tesla's inventions and patents.[100] One document states that "[he] is reported to have some 80 trunks in different places containing transcripts and plans having to do with his experiments [...]". Charlotte Muzar reported that there were several "missing" papers and property.
I cannot understand how my wanting to be positive, and see that we all stay focused on the issue is negative. Paul seems to want to pick a fight, but I am not interested in one. The distortion of "facts" is that we work for money to better our lives. The reality is that we have been duped into believing that money is necessary. Eating is necessary, paying for food is not.

The global economics is not really determined by production and services, it is determined by the financial sector as to what they are willing to pay or sell products for. Control of commodities, based on an illusion of scarcity.

If you think I am being negative Mr. Paul, then you are not in touch with reality. You are just spinning the same yarn that the Fed and other central banks want you to believe. They don't want the truth to be told, because if enough of the public sees through the charades, it will all come crashing down around them,
I am closing this discussion too.
