Folks, I have been talking to James Tracy for a little over a month now. He invited my father and I to come over to Enid, Okla. to see the "little" experiment he has been working on. My father has two BS degrees- Chemical and Industrial Engineering. I was working on my BS degree in Mechanical Engineering when I had to stop and deal with cirrhosis and get a liver transplant. I want James to talk to my brother who has his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering. I say "little" experiment only because he has no real lab and must use items which he has fabricated over time and at his expense. We had to sign a confidentiality agreement forms so I will not be telling anyone anything about how or what he was using in his "little" experiment. What I can tell you is, he produced a plasma ball several times in front of our eyes. And, the glassware was warm to the touch even after it had time to cool. I examined it! Someone needs to pay attention to this guy. Personally, I think he should get funding and given a lab with lab equipment to work in. My father thought it had great potential. Mr. Tracy has thought it through and has great ideas for the use of the by-products in the end. Thanks James for allowing us to view it! I think on a large scale this will be useful to everyone. JChris

There is already another post titled "Pickens Plan" aside from the one in all CAPS. Be sure to vote up the right one, which so far has a score of 600. We need to be at about 3500 to make the front page of energy and environment

Thanks for this Eric! The text in the right Pickens is as follows:

In December 2008 alone, 66% of our oil was imported from foreign countries at a cost of $19.3 billion.

The Obama administration should adopt the principals of the Pickens Plan as a way of breaking our addiction to foreign oil and beginning the transition to alternative energy sources.

As of right now it has 29 comments.
