oil, food, war, veterans and the Bush Administration

It is so sad that we are in a War based on bad information. I am concerned about the price of gas, food and the way the Bush administation has ruined this country. I have Nephews in Iraqi. My Brothers and my Father fought for this country. I have family that died for this country. None of us ever expected see this country in another depression and the hands the the Bush administration for his on needs and the needs of his Vice President and their friends. It is killing us.

We are all being manulipated like sheep to the slaughter house. View the video HERE and let me know if you can sleep nights.
Lindsey Williams is not an alarmist but is trying to tell the truth to those who are broad minded enough to pull their heads out of the sand and listen.

The reason the dollar has fallen so dramatically is due to two things, the trade deficit and the Federal budget deficit. Sending manufacturing overseas and outsourcing everything possible, coupled with importation of cheap, foreign goods create our trade deficit.

When Bush took office, the Dollar was worth 1.07 Euros. Due primarily to our record deficit spending, the Dollar is now only worth 0.64 Euros. The majority of this erosion occurred between 2001 and 2006, while the Republicans controlled both houses of congress and the Executive.

Oil prices, remained relatively stable until the Administration decided to invade Iraq. If you look at graphical information on the American Petroleum Institute (API) website, you will see that the escalation in oil prices began with the invasion and accelerated as speculators saw a quick buck.

If the administration and the Republican congress was not responsible, who was?

We are in "recession" because the dims talked it up to win the election. They did it in '92, and they have done it again. The REAL problem this time though is, I'm afraid they have let it get away with them and We're gonna elect a dim prez at a time when we face real economic problems, and it has always neen TRAGIC the times that has happened. Socialism wont turn the economny around, fdr proved that, as did jimmy carter.

It is truly interesting that from all walks of life no matter what of veiws are on all issues we as a united group feel that our leaders have failed us to cushion their own needs. Now we may be saying it in different ways but we are all agree on all points that our leaders have failed us and will continue to do so. You are so right and on point. I thank you for sharing and pray you continue to share your veiws. You have given me alot to think about going forward.

I dislike pointing the finger at anyone. You fall on your face looking backwards. A progressive person looks ahead - ignores the naysayers and negative input and makes DECISIONS as to what they can do to make things better. Gossip is a cancer. Let's put our thought process together and entwine possible solutions to our energy crisis. I do not like being dependent on foreign oil, nor any other resource. With the stamina Mr. Pickens' seems to have - perhaps he IS someone who can lead us out of this oil diatribe and into a REAL, positive and permanent solution. Let's watch, listen and keep an open mind.

I will watch the youtube blog. Thank you for sharing. Over the last week I have read and responded to every reply that has been sent to my open letter. Since we all seem to be somewhat of one mind where should we go from here. I mean how do we use our opinions so they will count. How do we use our voting force or how can we as a people help each other to make things better or ease the suffering or uplift the life of all of us as a whole? Once again I thank you for sharing and giving me a new avenue to look at.

Bad information? Bush knew full well that there were no WMD, that is why he stopped the inspections. Cheney was over at CIA every month trying to force Tenant to say "slam dunk". This was contrived and will go down in history as one of THE most evil acts by any president.

I am so proud of the Pickens Plan and the great ideas and comments borne of this initiative and “Army” that is growing exponentially. However, I do have one very serious concern.

It is quite clear that this current administration is posturing and readying for unprecedented events in the Middle East. These new “open dialogues” and communication with Iran are all guises that will inevitably lead towards a US backed attack on Iran by Israel that will eventually lead to the US becoming fully immersed in a much more serious war in the Middle East. Iran is not Iraq and they will fight back.

All of this will happen just after the RNC convention in September, probably in conjunction with a terrorist attack on American interests or our sovereignty. Bush will enact emergency directives NSPD51 / HSPD20 thus suspending our upcoming 2008 general election.

We must start educating Americans as to the real reason we attacked Iraq… and that was to gain control of there oil production and trade. In June of 2008 several large Oil Companies, including Exxon Mobil (huge profits), moved into Iraq to control the many platforms and refineries, but more importantly this oil production is back to trading in dollars rather than Euros. When Saddam switched to the Euro in 2000, he defined his fate, 9/11 was allowed to happen due to the discountenance of the abundance of intelligence, and we attacked Iraq.

The same thing is happening with Iran. Their Oil Bourse is trading in Euro, thus the steadily weakening dollar. Iran has no intention of using nuclear weapons or bombing Israel. To do so would only define their fate and destruction. It is the United States that plans to escalate aggression with Iran and gain control of their oil production and move back to trading in dollars.

What does this have to do with the Pickens Plan?

All of these great grass root campaigns, ideas, movements, meetings, development, deployment and publicity will be put on hold as we tune into mainstream media to watch the slow destruction of our world. Once things escalate in the Middle East there will be other unprecedented aggressions by other Countries (e.g. China, Taiwan, North/South Korea, etc) and before we know it we will be immersed in World War III.

We need to STOP BUSH/CHENEY in there tracks, right now! But this is a monumental task. They will stage some kind of event that will make Iran look like the aggressor thus starting the wheels in motion. I do not have the definitive answer but all of these wonderful grass roots Pickens Plan initiatives are in jeopardy if Bush/Cheney are allowed to proceed with their underlying plans.

All of this is just my humble opinion. Please perform your own due diligence.

My ancestors arrived here in 1692. 13 of them are verified to have fought in the Revolution and we have served during every war since. We are related to Patton, Francis Marion, Rory Calhoun, members of the Irish Light Brigade, Davey Crockett's wife, and one of us died at the Alamo. My father, his father, my mother's father, my uncles, and I have all served. My son just signed up. We are members of the SAR, the DAR, the VFW, and the Masonic Lodge.

I am not being unpatriotic when I say that our government is corrupt. While the corruption began to noticeably seep in just prior to Lincoln, the major event leading to our downfall was the Federal Reserve Act. When Wilson signed the act into being, he gave away our country.

When we elect the inexperienced to office, it's like throwing them to the wolves. It's not the Democrats or the Republicans. It's both. The only civil way to get our country back is to elect people, who are knowledgeable about what has happened and don't want to regulate, to federal offices and to get rid of the Federal Reserve while we still can. Many of our good leaders have warned us.
