Several nights ago on a local TV station in Greenville, SC the news anchor was discussing a new technology which added Hydrogen to one's gasoline via some type of electronic converter which used baking soda and water to produce the chemical recation. the hydrogen was injected into the gas mixture through the fuel injectors. They said the the "initial results looked like mileage WAS being increased and that they would do a follow up story after using the apparatus for a full week.' My travel schedule prcluded me seeing the conclusion. Did anyone else either see this or do they know anything about it? One supposedly can purchase the "plans" for the device via mail order and then build it yourself from "readily available parts."

Several years ago I was charging the battery on a lawnmower, and after several hours of charging, I went out to check on it. I didnt know if the battery would even take a charge, but I unplugged the charger, and turned the key on the mower just to see if it had charged. It was just like pulling the trigger on a gun, the battery blew up in my face.Blew acid in my eyes, in my mouth, in my nose, it felt like someone had poured my eyes full of sand and rubbing alcohol. ANYWAY.................................

Today while mowing my lawn I was thinking about this hydrogen producer that people are building and it occurred to me, cars already have one on them, the battery. The reason that battery blew up was because a battery that is charging, produces hydrogen. That is what blew up on me. NOW, why couldnt a person just tap into that, rather than build another unit?

Hey guys,

I wanted to let everyone know about HHO-INFO.com. We are an international group of HHO builders who have come together in an open source environment to help evolve the technology. The technology has been around for many years but there has never been a builder’s community like this one before. Having a community of builders allows for a quicker and more efficient evolution of ideas and methods. We would like to invite anyone who is interested in this to come and take a look at what we are doing. Feel free to join us in our endeavor and take an active part in your future.

Yep the plan cost you $95 and I want the plans I 'll give free. But after reading 100 pages, I realize that even mechincal enegineer couldn't built this device. The problem with HHO systems are that require $4,000 to convert your car and most of conversion kits really don't address the need for large alternators or generators.

Finally, you tail pipe will fall off because of water and rust.
It is a scam. Debunked on national radio shows.
Hello, Mr. Childers. Sam Fleet asked me to come to you about the AEIT project (whatever that is?). I am the meteorologist that spoke with her, and she requested that I get in touch with you, Sir. I have not heard of this idea, either; but I'd like to know more about it....my moniker is Americaneedsaplan. I have a blog going about harnessing (possibly) lightning to store for use in homes and businesses.....please check into it and please add your comments....thank you...
Sounds like an electrolysis cell that breaks water into H2 and O2 then feeds it back into the engine.

The backing soda is to make the water more conductive for the electrolysis.

The energy for the electrolysis comes form the engine (ie puts more load on the engine) and this will be ideally equal to the energy gained by recombining the H2 and O2 in the engine.

This is a closed loop energy system so has no net energy gain, but, will have some loses.

The only possible explanation as to why this increases the millage is that the added H2 and O2 somehow adjusts the thermodynamics of the combustion cycle. Maybe it increases the compression ratio of the engine.
You can find all about hydrogen injectors here.

I believe the benefit is that it allows better combustion of the gas. Just like you can get more power with a turbo, or intercooler.
