Yes i seen the video, i tried that type but heat was a problem. Go to my web and see what i made to beat the heat problem.

I don't/am not endorsing this claim, just alerting to the presence of the Video.

Members of the Yahoo Group are attempting to find-out if it's factual, or a Scam?

I don't recommend using Glass Jars in actual usage.
Too dangerous! If you hit a Pot Hole, had an accident...

It is amazing that no one has put one of these vehicles on a dynamometer.
What does a TV reporter know about anything except TV reporting (how to hold a microphone, etc.)?
No mention if the vehicle had it's emission controls touched.

Inquiring minds would like that info...

Anyway to contact the NewsCaster to see if a 3rd Party could verify the claims made?

Several have been put on dyno's and it shows increased HP, I'm sorry I don't have time to find one for you right now.

You sound like you know what you're doing. Why don't you meet with some of the mechanics in this group and local car clubs, then do field comparisons.
Proof in performance, instead of arguing past precedents of suspicious veracity. There are too many here who claim to have proof.

Please let's find a way to verify the data.

I'm checking out a local hydrogen tinker, along with an electrical car group nearby. I will report back directly to you and this group.

The only engine specifically designed to burn water is http://TheGreenEngine.com We're showing off a diesel version in Houston Sept 25 at Rice University. The world is not ready for a 100% water engine - big oil and big government will squash anything that succeeds. It's a cruel greedy world out there!

When your engine runs does it use all of the electricity it produces? Probably not. Your engine will produce that electricity whether you are using your radio, lights, charging your battery, or not. Why not use that power to create HHO. It costs very little to install, I haven't run down my battery yet, I do get mpg gains (although not as much as hoped for) and I'm a back yard mechanic. It was a fun project and at a minimum I think I'm producing less emissions than before. I did have to make and install a very basic eletronic kit that changes the input from my Absolute Pressure sensor (not MAP sensor) to lean out the fuel air mixture but it wasn't difficult. The community is now working on better solutions to allow the vehicle's computer to continue to operate with the modified inputs. I think we'll gett'r done.

The same people who fall for the water engine scam fall for the idea of putting a wind turbine on an electric car to generate power in order to move the car. Some people don't really understand physics and chemistry but they can blow out some hot air very well.

Water engines that produce magic energy from H2O are frauds... period.

Actually, that can work, if you live in a very windy location and only drive into the wind. :-)

OR,

If they'd hang You on a pole in front of the venturi, like the 'Lil Rascals used to hang a tin can out in front of their Goat Wagon...

'course that would be for high speed performance applications only.

Like Drag Racing...
