a suggestion - maybe you should title the discussion: "Please Update Your Zip Code: Here's How"
otherwise most people won't get the implied message to do so and will just ignore the discussion like they have hundreds of others.

Sorry, but I have to ask. Who are you?

I've already been hacked and have been sent lots of stuff from people that claim to be an authorized person from the PickensPlan site.
I couldn't get the zip registered for some techno reason-I assume it is there from my initial sign-up. If Boone is going to be in Tulsa or Stillwater I would be glad to offer the services of my production company to video and produce a tape of the event for the net or other venues.

iF YOU WANT TO SOLVE THE ENERGY CRISIS IN TWO YEARS LEGALIZE INDUSTRIAL HEMP. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!
yea man
Of course, if we legalized ALL hemp, everyone would stay home, and no one would care about the problem :)

I gotta ask, how would "industrial hemp" solve the problem? Is it an ethanol producer like switch grass?

Ethanol isn't a solution to anything. It is a solvent though. From what I've read, E85 pollutes more than standard gasoline. It's corrosive to metal, so it has to be diluted in something else.

So in response, NOT enough said.

Just want to say It's about time we take control of our natural resuorces! This foreign oil terrorism has gone on long enough!
Agree! But you have to get the politians on board for it to work. Here in N.J. the govenor has said no to off shore drilling and forget wind generators. Do not want the bathers seeing the oil rigs fifty miles out to sea and the generator blade may hurt a bird or scare the dear.... see what I mean.
Yup. A typical Not In My Backyard mentality. West Texas is beautiful with its miles and miles of windmills where there was just sage brush before.
Why not pick specific areas in the wind corridor to set goals of becoming energy independent. Lets get Warren Buffet to invest some of the cash he has on hand to make parts or the entire state of Nebraska energy independent.
