Did everyone notice that food prices rose 40% in 2007?
According to ADM 90% of crops grown in 2007 were used for food - yet food prices still rose 40%.
As we continue to increase the proportion of food used for fuels we're going to see doubling and tripling of food prices by the end of the decade.
Who's going to be able to afford food that cost 200% more than it does now?
