Hey;
I for one do not know enough about it. I do remember watching shine runners shows.
I think this should be looked into as another avenue to help reduce overall consumption.

I'm sure there are if's and but's. Is that not so with most everything??
Just think It is going to take a whole fleet of fingers to get to our goal.
Best to all;
Tom

One can only hope that President-Elect Obama will abandon the old party lines and govern towards the center and help this country take its first steps towards energy independence. It seems as though off shore drilling will be out of reach with Mr. Obama and his party loyalists; however, one can hope that he will realize the need for the increased use of CNG (as it has taken off in the State of Utah), tidal/solar/wind power generation sources.

I would also like to see Mr. Obama lay out his plans for the creation of more clean and efficient nuclear power plants, which have been historically defeated by his party.

Hello my name is Chuck Burkhard, an CNN iReporter from Windber, PA. pushing the Picken's Plan, check out a live TV appearance on Prime news where I mention energy independence and most of my other ireports doing my best to help educate people on one of the most important issues we face as Americans, energy independence. On election day I got a few sign ups, I just have not faxed them yet, I will tonight.

Fellow Army Members,

Here is the link to my blog post concerning the creation of local chapters and chain of command for the Army:

http://push.pickensplan.com/profiles/blog/show?id=2187034%3ABlogPos...

I believe this idea will help mobilize the Army and get results fast so we can claim victory with a new energy plan within President Obama's 1st 100 days of office!

Thanks,

Hello Fellow Army Members,

I have had this idea for the Army for two weeks and would like to share it so the Army can become stronger and bigger in size in order to complete our mission of getting a new energy policy within the 1st 100 days of President Obama's term.

First, I see Boone doing a fantastic job getting to the public and VIP's spreading just how important the Pickens Plan is to our country.

Second, We have organized over 800 groups that have many excellent functions that they are performing along with some groups organized by location.

Third, We have organized the Army be States with Regional Leaders and groups are listed for each state which is good.

However, we are need to set up a chain of command along with local chapters based on ZIP code so the grass roots movement can take off like wild fire.

Let me explain the concept:

1) Every member of the Army is organized into local chapters based on ZIP code. Each chapter will have a Captain and Lieutenants as needed who live within the ZIP code area.

They will lead the members in town hall meetings and email campaigns to recruit more members and begin to promote the Pickens Plan so local and state Governments can realize how important it is to support the Pickens Plan.

2) The chain of command will look like this:

A) Local Chapter Captains report to their state Colonel who has a Lieutenant Colonel to assist, both live within the state.

B) Colonels of each state report to Regional Leaders/One Star Generals.

C) One Star Generals report to Boone and his staff at headquarters in Dallas.

D) Boone is General of the Army !

3) Benefits:

A) With a chain of command and our web site we can quickly make decisions which will allow fast action to occur.

B) Local Chapters will allow members to have a sense of belonging and purpose.

C) Local Chapters will be able to recruit new members by whatever means that works for them. Such as handing out fliers and sign-up new members at local events.

D) The grass-roots movement that occurs due to each local chapter efforts to promote the Pickens Plan will work its way up the local and state governments. They will realize that the people of the United States want change and end our dependence on foreign oil.

E) All of the efforts of the local chapters will support Boone's effort that he is doing to broker a new energy policy that is based on the Pickens Plan.

Thank-you for reading and considering this idea to help make the Pickens Plan become reality.

DiAxiom Technologies Inc. is an alternative energy research and development company focused on the development of environmentally friendly, zero-emission energy systems.

Following years of research into the natural causes of storms and lightning, the company was founded to substantiate its scientific findings and to develop technological solutions to address the increasing demand for clean, reliable and renewable energy. Underpinning its work is the founders' shared belief that energy should be a basic human right, and through DiAxiom's efforts, that right will ultimately be achieved.

The company's name, "DiAxiom", means 'two basic truths' or starting points, referring to the basic understanding that: Water is created every day on our planet, and water is dissociated into hydrogen and oxygen every day in our atmosphere. These basic scientific "truths" form the building blocks of the company's development of its NOHRMAN (H+e) hydrogen-electric technology. See the PRODUCTS section of this website for more information about this novel energy system, and for additional information about DiAxiom's new solar-wind technology.

Some of the science surrounding DiAxiom's technology is new and challenging, and the eventual applications will be disruptive to present day energy supply sources. However, if we, and our children, are to continue enjoying the planet we inhabit, alternatives need to be found quickly to solve the problems of our dependency on hydro-carbon fuels and to their menacing influences on our environment. DiAxiom Technologies Inc. is primed to lead the change with alternative energy solutions that are affordable, clean and renewable.

HANS, The USA produces 50% of its electricity from the largest coal reserves known in the world. If we capture the CO2 from the flue gas coming off these plants, or converted to nuclear, we would be in total compliance with Koyoto. This is proven technology that you an ole AMOCO researcher know about it. Put CO2 in oil fields and produce another 15% of the oil in place and/or use CO2 in concentrations to accelerate plant growth and yield 4 to 5 times. Both provide a payoff to CO2 capture and sequestration. In ten years we would have the problem solved and for far less money than they are using for bailout and propping up car companies and subsidizing PV processes. Dr Robt S. Poston, PhD

Hi Dr. Poston: Do you have links with details? Perhaps you can tell us how to separate the carbon dioxide from the 70% nitrogen in the flue gases at 2000 degrees f? They are much cooler at the top of the chimney, but the existing chimney is not strong enough to hang a processing plant near the top. The flue gases can be cooled in a heat exchanger, but then we need perhaps a megawatt of blowers to feed enough air to the coal for proper combustion.
I suppose the nitrogen with 20% carbon dioxide can be injected into lagging oilfields or used to accellerate plant growth, but it cannot be much warmer than the ambient summer temperature. Trace chemicals in the flue gas may poison the plants. My guess double the yield is about all we can expect, even with 20% carbon dioxide which would be toxic to humans. Neil
