Natural Gas & Propane engines technology has been around since 1970

So why can't we get that back? Because the major car companies smashed it for oil, and wouldn't be suprised if they bought the patents to keep it out of circulation..

Now is the time - We are starting production of a new cam-drive engine design that will efficiently power a SUV or panel truck type vehicle with natural gas. We have been blocked by the oil industry and the big auto industry up until now. We were almost in production but were stopped after the 9/11 Attack which thwarted our efforts. We'll get back to you on this. patwilks@mindspring.com
I can convert just about any car to CNG, it does not take a special engine.
Hi SJC :)

And just how much does it cost to do that? Some guy on this site in another part charged $8,000.00. I can buy (2) 4 x4 's for that price up here in Kalispell, MT right now.

As I understand it, all conventional engines experience about a 30+/% loss of power when modified to run on CNG. Our engine design is a unique cam-drive design that experiences much less loss when modified to use CNG. Also, our 200 hp design only weighs 300 lb. compared to about 450 lb. that a conventional engine weighs. So when you add the extra weight that the CNG fuel tank requires, our cam-drive engine is more feasible and makes an acceptable alternative for an SUV or panel truck.

An additional benefit is that our engine has a broad range of rpm where high torque occurs - 500 ft. lb. at 500 rpm up through 650 ft.lb. at 1,200 rpm., and 550 ft.lb. at 2,000 rpm. Thus power can be accessed with fewer gear changes by the transmission.
Hey Pat :)
Good Points!!!
Also, If people learn to do “Preventive Maintenance” on their vehicles rather that drive them till the warranty wears out. They would last longer with little repair costs, and save gas. We have 226,650.000 miles on a 1994 dodge intrepid that still has the original engine, and all its parts except for a 2nd tyranny which notorious for the breed.

And this also saves gas....... .
Every 3000 miles change the oil & check the air filter, In line Fuel filter, PCV Valve, and make sure you have the correct tire pressure. That all work miracles....

What most folks need to know too is that most vehicles from 1990's on have computer chips in the engines, tyrannies and other places they do not know about that effect driving, gas mileage and repair costs.
For example .....If you get your tyranny flushed then make sure the repair shop checks the computer chip inside the tyranny for it can cost you another tyranny without realizing is just a computer malfunction and not a bad tyranny.

Keep your spark plugs in good shape and any engine purrs like a kitten too.
