Energy Efficiency

For those of us who are unemployed, efficiency is not as you describe it by making purchases we have no money for.....
I turned off the heating/cooling unit over a month ago, and have not turned it back on. It gets a little chilly at night, but that is what blankets are for. When it gets too cold to survive in here, we plan to camp by our basement fireplace and burn the excess wood in the back yard from downed trees that fell in past storms. We might not be able to spend, but there is a way to squeeze a buffalo nickle til the buffalo hollers. Vacation camping in a tent? No, that costs money. We can camp at home if need be.
