It is time for national net metering standards so that homeowners can better exercise their ability to generate their own electricity. I am selling systems all over the nation and it's hard to believe how different each customer's net metering policy support can be. Some have good rights, some have really got their government and politicians fighting against them to have energy freedom.

Look at this map. Look at how three VERY, VERY WINDY states have no support for net metering policy. We need a leadership that is not beholden to protecting the gig utility company's grip on energy.

Questions:
If you cut your monthly electric bill check to WindCorp, or CoalCorp, are you any better off? No, your air might be cleaner but you still will have no control of cost or quality of your power. If you put in your own wind energy system, you have a known, fixed cost for future. You will save a great deal of money and it's a strong investment. WindCorp, they will raise costs and prices just like CoalCorp has done and FuelCorp.

Your Wind Resource Maps

This is about more than global warming, more than energy security for the US. This is about personal energy security, value, cost. Why are these states not allowing development of PERSONAL wind/solar systems? It's to limit growth of personal energy systems to maintain their monopoly control on energy.

All politicians should be put on notice that we want NATIONAL STANDARDS of Net Metering Polict, modeled after Colorado, New Jersey, and other forward thinking model states that support personal energy systems correctly, freedom, not monopoly control.

We should all be able to easily put in Home Wind Turbines with full grid support. These systems have wind/solar built right in. The wind is stronger in the winter months, sun is stronger in the summer months, we designed a system that is attractively priced, that gives an even flow of energy year round. Wind power scales down in size to be perfectly feasible for a homeowner sized system to provide power for their home.

Anyone wanting a small wind turbine, fill out the contact form and I can connect you with the dealer for your area. There are still areas open in most states for new dealers but many counties and a few entire states are taken up and several people are saying they are going to get their territory. So, if you are interested in becoming a dealer fill out the same form and we can see if your area may still be open.

In Ohio they buy back power at the "generation cost" which is $.06, they charge $.011 for same kwh which would be used by a neighbor at a profit to them. So, my wind/solar is off-grid because it's cheaper and they will not buy excess I generate at a rate that's worth my trouble for now.

They have the dirtiest air in the US here in Ohio, AFAIK. All our power comes from coal plants that choke us out. They just announced a 15% increase for EACH of next three years. The state has mandated a 1% clean energy in a given tme period and it's touted as some grand goal... OMG.

You know, the bright side of fixing your cost for energy with a personal system, that 15% for each 3 years in a row. That raises my "avoided cost" and my return on investment too. Since the system lasts 30 years before a rebuild, my investment in my systems just appreciated dramatically. And it will be paying me back and appreciating for a long time.

Or, I could be sending a monthly check to WindCorp, CoalCorp, or BooneCorp. With all the uncertainty of the economy, a few things are certain:

(1) Homeowner needs electric
(2) Electric costs will rise
(3) I can make my own now
