Leaving the PickinsPlan
Nothing is being done materially to advance the SmartGrid and Green Energy. It's all about, "Drill Baby Drill," using antiquated and dangerous techniques to go after natural gas.
Furthermore:
It's so, "Cute," that the, " Leave PickensPlan," Link on my settings page leads to nothing but a, "javascript:void0". In other words, my membership is being held captive. I am not being allowed to unsubscribe because that would bring down the total membership of the organization and make Pickins look bad. Two can play this game. I'm going viral with my reporting of this to all my news outlets and political contacts. Screw T. Boone Pickins.
I formally Resign from this organization. It's nothing but a front for Dirty natural gas drilling.

I'm also disappointed that progress is so slow. My guess is T. Boone Pickens is doing the best he can in an honorable, ethical manner. The fault lies elsewhere. I blame Bill Gates when something computer, such as unsubscribe doesn't work. Have a good day. Neil

Bill Gates is a philanthropist. If I wanted to blame Microsoft I'd sooner name Steve Balmer. Although Balmer is truly spawn of the Devil, he's not responsible for this either. This is a W3C Standards problem. In other words, piss poor programming. It's the developers assigned to the PickinsPlan website that are responsible for the broken link.
It's T. Boone Pickins who's responsible for the bait-n-switch on Green Energy and for advocating a massive program of natural gas drilling using antiquated technology that will destroy the water table throughout the United States. The result of that travesty is that corporate amerika will be given a boon in their bid to own America's water supply. It's sad how all this is interconnected. The oligopoly must be brought to a grinding halt before we ordinary citizens lose everything.

I don't know that any of that is true, and Larry Bates likely does not either, unless you are an insider in the various Satanic conspiracies. I agree the water table may be the next of many crisis coming soon, but unlike you, I don't know who to blame. You seem to have conceded, that the broken link is not the fault of T. Boone Pickens. Overall this forum is more reliable and user friendly than other forums. Neil

Hey Larry, instead of beating up on some unsuspecting straw man as it pertains to you wanting out of the PickensPlan, why not just try going away and leaving it alone. You can start by not answering this post.

Gee, how long did it take Larry 'Brainiac' Battis to figure this out. It is right up there with the bank robber Willie Sutton's line when asked why he robbed banks, "Because....that's where the money is".
BTW Larry, it will be a long time coming before you see any significant "green" energy being produced in this world. It makes for great news sound bites and plant opening dedications, but like CNG drilling, it has FAR more drawbacks.
