Honda is the only Auto Manufacturer with a car fueled by NG, and it is difficult to get one.
They drove the only supplier of compressors into bankruptcy but Honda is known to do this to many of their supplier over the years.
One challenge is the short rang of CNG or LNG fueled auto.  That is a challenge that can be solved.

Turn the NG into methanol and run it in FFVs. It is low cost to make a new car FFV to run on M85 and methanol sells for $1 per gallon wholesale. If all new cars were FFV we could have 50 million of them on the road in 5 years. That would create a huge market for alternate fuels. Methanol could be made locally, reducing the cost of transporting the fuel to the station.
