Is it possible for Obama to be serious about more efficient energy ( stronger dollar/U.S. jobs/
less dependent on foreign/ U.S. tax revenue/ etc. etc.) and completely ignore nuclear and gas. The answer is NO! There is a different political agenda at play.

Why doesn't Pickens attack this record and CLEARLY explain the benefits of gas? We have lost a year already. Get a new strategy and a new ad agency, but the current strategy is too soft.

Who wasn't aware of T. Boones affiliation with Wall Street too who built up an Army just camped outside? He'll be back giving the call to march when the time's ready,I think.
Coming on too strong (in most peoples opinion) looses a lot of friends, even if a strong stand is what is needed. Some times it is best to understate your position, tactfully ie Some liberals are very nice people.
CNG has been explained clearly, but federal bureaucrats are blocking the transition to CNG = compressed natural gas.
I'm not aware of T. Boon's affiliation with Wall Street? What is Ron trying to suggest? "too who"? Neil.

Congressional coal ash defenders ignore damages back home
Pakistan
123 gas fields in the country were producing around 4 BCFD of gas, but the demand was of around 5 BCFD.
ISLAMABAD: Petroleum Minister Syed Naveed Qamar has said the country is facing a shortage of one billion cubic feet of gas and negotiations are being held with international suppliers of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to meet the shortfall. ISLAMABAD: Up to 15 per cent of the CNG stations in urban areas of Punjab and the NWFP would remain closed between 6am to 8pm daily, according to a new directive issued by the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited on Wednesday.
Pakistan had mostly CNG powered vehicles
I am posting this just wondering if this shortage is real or politically created.

I don't support nuclear power. It is a special interest that has more influence then anyone
If that were true, then why haven't there been any new nuclear power plants built in the last thirty years? Our nuclear technology is severely outdated, and every attempt to improve them and build new power plants is met with strong opposition and layers of red tape by well-meaning but ignorant protesters. Nuclear power could strongly reduce our dependence on coal, but that seems unlikely unless we look past a small minority opposition built on misconceptions.
