Trains on CNG

Trains use a tremendous amount of deisel. Has there been any thought in converting these to CPN?

Even if they didn't (not that they shouldn't) but imagine the less bumper-to-bumper traffic.

In most of the world, trains are run by electricity thru overhead wires.
