Natural gas is the future of energy. It is replacing dirty and dangerous coal and nuclear plants. It is producing the electricity for electric cars. It will directly fuel pickup trucks, vans, buses, long haul trucks, dump trucks, locomotives, aircraft, ships etc. It will keep us out of more useless wars, where we shed our blood and money. Usually takes all night, but it does not require heavy wiring like the big electric compressors do. I am looking at some farm compressors. They use Nat Gas internal combustion engines. They are much faster, 1 - 2hours for a 20gal tank. They are too noisy if your neighbor is less than 100 feet away.
