Sorry for the delay in joining this group! I've been a member of The Pickens Plan for a while, but have been out of country for the last month and a half.

I'll email Bab's and Dennis (did so last year on numerous occasions). It also helps to call their offices. Of course you won't ever actually be able to talk to them, but the call volume is recorded for individual topics and they DO PAY ATTENTION!!!

Comment by Barbara Fields on January 22, 2009 at 4:10pm: We have hope now that our President has said he wants the U.S. to be completely off of imported dirty energy in ten years. I have been driving a hybrid for over 3 years, but would like to get a car that uses no gasoline. I would like to get solar panels for our home, however my husband thinks they are still too expensive.

Your leader, Michael Stevens, can use your help. Congress is meeting this week and Inauguration day will be here before we know it!

Now is the time to get involved and help us accomplish our district goals of a.) new member recruitment (500 new members being our target), b.) getting letters to the editor and op-ed articles in support of the Pickens Plan placed in newspapers, and c.) getting the U.S. Senators/Representatives for CA-18 to sign the pledge.
