I need exact instructions on how to send the email. I got the email but can't find the info indicated, ie Please go to Find your District Congressman and enter your zip code in the box on the far right side. Where do I find this?

I made my calls. Amazingly all 3 numbers were answered by actual humans! My calls were very brief. I identified myself as part of the PickenPlan and expressed my interest in the senator (or rep) supporting the wind energy bill. Only rep Gallegly asked for my contact information. Both senator clerks asked for my zip code only.

Jimmy Pace joined the plan recently and he posted a very simple but extreemly appropriate remark as follows:

"Good morning to all. I'm not good at the computer,but want to get started as active Push member. I'm struggling with what to do next.Rgd's,Jimmy Pace"

I want to respond to this post quickly by outlining a few of the basic simple goals we have for Push members.
1. Letting government officials know you are part of the PickensPlan
2. Letting the community know you are part of the PickensPlan

Now the question is how can the Plan group help you do that. We can give you the email address for the appropriate elected officials. We can help you with the actual email process. I work about 14 hours a day making a living so I have not done a lot of posting. By tomorrow afternoon I intend to have a post that clearly gives 4 or 5 email address that members of district CA24 can send emails to, as well as a suggestion of the email formats.

The problem is, in my case, everyone of my friends understands my solar panels and such and are asking my about T. and his plan and I've just been refering them to TPP Home Page and letting them read and decide for themselves. Not a lot have responded back to me and how many have actually signed up is also an unknown factor. More folks have to hear T. Boone himself and then get "THE BIG PICTURE!". This may take some time and that's something we don't have much of. I'll keep up my end but right now my focus is on the Louisiana Coastal Erosion issues, which is a front burner situation for me until it gets an effective resolution. If you would like to help, feel free to contact me as we have many issues we MUST deal with at the moment!

I was lucky enough to listen to and meet Boone yesterday at an event in La Quinta, CA. I've been following Boone for nearly three decades and to finally meet him was great. There were over 500 people at the initial discussion session yesterday and when he asked how many people had heard of the Pickens Plan maybe 50 people raised their hand. When he asked how many were part of the Pickens Army, there were maybe 6 hands, two of which were my son’s and mine. Very disheartening.

Let’s get the word out. Something needs to change and it appears a grassroots effort such as the Pickens Army is the only way it will happen. I encourage everyone to inform and educate your friends.

Good to see more and more members! We'll need more, but that will soon be taken care of if we all work together and keep informing everyone from family to friends.
As I've said, adding our Sun Power solar panels has cut our electricity bill to $0.98 per MONTH and that's a two story three garage home in Westlake with four of us here all of the time and occasionally my eldest daughter comes by too! These technologies WORK! It's not voodoo or science fiction, it is science and it is here now! Get on board and let's let our minds take us into this Century with a flourish and quite wimpering around. WE are AMERICA and we AMERICANS are a "CAN DO" people!

We're finally here! The new Administration and Congress have been sworn in. Legislation is perking up everywhere. We will soon have legislation promoting the Pickens Plan. We have been working the past seven months for this - the next 100 days!

We need everyone's help.

If you haven't already, please host a meeting among the District group to see how your district can keep moving the Pickens Army forward.

Please continue to recruit new Members. Members have found success (and new acquaintances) by setting up a table in front of a store such as Wal-Mart or at a local park.

Write an op-ed or letter-to-the-editor to your hometown newspaper. Send that op-ed or letter to ALL the papers in your district.

Send a note to your Member of Congress that you want them to support the Pickens Plan when it becomes legislation.

And please report what you have done. A weekly report gets sent to Boone with figures such as how many op-eds and letters to the editor have been submitted, published, meetings held, etc. He follows our district activities every week.
