Indie Film “Haynesville” Will Premiere November 23rd On CNBC

“Haynesville” will premiere on Tuesday, November 23rd at 9pm on CNBC. The one hour documentary will repeat that evening at 10pm, 12am and 1am.

The show will also air on:

Sunday, November 28th at 10pm.

“Haynesville”

When the people in rural Northern Louisiana learn they are sitting on a fortune, they struggle to weigh their big dreams against the safety of their community. Some will take the money and run while others learn to negotiate with the big energy companies who are looking to drill into the trillion-dollar natural gas reservoir that lies deep beneath their homes. Will this be easy money or the fight of their lives, in what some are calling the “new gold rush”?

Hello district FL-11 members,
The president is giving good lip service to offshore drilling, albeit disingenuous. This is still a reason to get the message of "Energy Independence" back in front of the American public. Lets look alive and get this baby rolling again.

Hi Army,
I attended the Green Business Summit put on by the Mayor of St. Petersburg on October 27th. It was fun and informative. On of the speakers was Brita Gross of GM. She had some interesting tidbits to pass along. Did you know that only 12% of the people on the planet have cars or access to them?

She said that if electric vehicles were already here and available and every car sold in the US was an electric car, it would take over thirty years to get the gas guzzlers off the road. Taking into consideration that production of electric vehicles will be phased in over years, the goal of zero gas fueled vehicles seems to be a goal that our children will see.

There was talk of hydrogen cars also, but the buts were plenty. Eveything hinges on electricity when it comes to electric cars. The grid, the grid, the grid.
lots of focus on the grid, so the government has spent tons of money to study it..Now thats a big help.

Also noted was the percentage of renewable energy produced and of that 9% is made from combustion of waste. hummmm We must do more wind...

Hello District FL-11 Army,

I'm John Osborn. For the record, I am absolutely pumped about becoming your new leader. I want to let you know that I hope to make a lot of things happen is short period of time. If we are to reach our goal of "Energy Independence", it will come only after we fight for it. No, I don't mean with guns and knives, but rather with the power of the pen and numbers. Together we are a force to be reckoned with.

We are all here for one reason and that is to solve a problem that has gotten swept under the rug for years. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing" penned by Edmund Burke many years ago, it is still true even today. We have a calling and it is to right that which is wrong. Stand with me and Boones Army and we WILL make a difference.

I will be coordinating events where we will bump elbows with national & local officials as well as movers and shakers of the community. I will need the Army to be front and center because these events are just that, "Important Events".

It will be difficult to project our influence without a show of force (I mean your presence at these events). We need to obtain media coverage and other publicity; so again, we must have members that do more than sign a pledge.

Our first event will be a meet and greet. I hope to meet each one of you. I want input from every member. Let me know what’s on your mind. I will send an additional email out informing you of the logistics and any guest speakers we can round up on short notice.

District members, we’re at the third and final day of the Virtual March, and today we are focusing on getting action on a bill to establish a 21st century transmission system and a National Renewable Electricity Standard (RES). As Boone points out, twenty-eight states now have an RES – which directs electric utilities to produce a set percentage of their power using alternative sources by a date certain.

Let’s make a great final push. Please use this link to contact Congress and the President again to... Thanks to all who have participated in the Virtual March this week!

Thanks to all of you who have taken action in the Virtual March so far! It’s Day Two, and the focus today is on oil imports -- the March 2009 numbers show we imported 65 percent of the oil we used -- so let’s contact our Members of Congress again today about reducing America’s dependency on foreign oil. You can do this by phone, of course, and we have also set up links to e-mail Congress or contact your member....

When you’ve done this, please leave a note here on our group page to let other members know you’ve taken action, and tell us if you received any information or feedback from the members’ offices.

Also, if you are a business owner or part of an organization that would like to take part in the Virtual March, please let me know and we’ll recognize you as a partner on the Pickens Plan Virtual March page!
