Hi folks, thanks for joining the FL-22 district group. We've put together a bunch of tools for you to use in the MyEnergy resource center. They're meant to make it easy to share information about the Pickens Plan with friends, with elected officials, etc. Please start here.

Also, Chris Jones is our district leader for this group.

It looks like Renee Klink is the regional leader mayhaps she would be a good place to start.

That is a good question Jon, I too am wondeering what other ways I can get involved? Does anyone have a recommendation?

Being new, though old, I need direction to how I can help most. I have my petitions and am beginning that effort. Because my work took me out of the country most of my life I have a very small center of influnce in the USA. What can I do?

The following is a brief background on our Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT). We, Air Power Systems (APS) have created a simple yet revolutionary product that will dramatically alter the small wind energy market.

There is nothing like our product on the market today, the design is simple in concept and simple to produce plus very cost affective with a shorter ROI than competitive systems currently available. We will create and capture new markets and set a new industry standard as the leader in energy independence at multiple levels in the consumer and utility markets.

Power utilities are solicitous to become involved at the early stages of our development and are legally required to purchase the excess power generated by our wind turbines installed at the residential level.

Our design is patent-pending in the US and we are currently pursuing international patents. Our prototype is installed and functioning at expected levels, the system is rotating at 2 mph with cut-in around 2.7 mph. At 4 mph wind speed the system is producing energy at 50% capacity. The prototype system is able to consistently generate energy of between 1.75 – 11 amps with wind speeds between 2.2 and 6.1 mph.

The Air Power Systems was designed in Germany, with an engineer, specialized in wind energy and aerodynamics.

Our goal and the basis for the Air Power Systems invention were to manufacture a very durable constructed Power Systems that is simple and easy to assemble, with maximum output. Our Air Power Systems can be constructed out of any material such as metal, wood, plastic, GRP, Plexiglas, carbon fiber, etc..

Well known propellers, windmills and turbines depend on a certain wind direction for optimal production unless very expensive electronics are installed to make adjustments to the windmill etc. for maximum production.

Our Air Power Systems does not depend on wind direction or wind strength for optimal energy production. It can function from hurricane strength winds to almost no wind flow. Because of the Air Power Systems being virtually noiseless and relatively small, the Air Power Systems is a perfect solution for residential and commercial applications.

The invention is to be implemented in different sizes and dimensions. The dimensions can be changed proportionally more broad than high and more high than broad. Thus the Air Power Systems can be used in any locations and conditions, even where other power solutions have failed.

The Air Power Systems invention is applicable for the external power supply of dwellings, emergency accommodations, commercial small and large objects of all kinds and disaster areas.

The Air Power Systems are patent pending. Our patent claims are made valid also as propulsion technology of any kind for progressive movement means, like vehicles, ships, RV¹s etc.. Our patent claims exist also for the production of hydrogen, as well as driving force of any kind, like ground water extraction, elevation and pumping units for the single use and / or multi use to compliment each other for more energy output and irrigation in the use of farming and other agriculture.

Energy is currently supplied to residences, businesses, and public buildings primarily via the electrical grid and natural gas pipelines, with minor contributions from solar, wood, municipal waste, etc. demand for energy consists broadly of electric power, cooling, and heating. As fossil fuel resources dwindle, the role of renewable energy sources clearly must increase in order to replace traditional fuels and lead to a sustainable energy supply system. Bio fuels are a major source within the renewable fuels category, especially in Florida, so it is clearly in the best interest of the State to develop this resource aggressively.

However, current commercial distributed-generation plants are unsuitable for this scenario. Reciprocating engines such as Diesels require relatively high maintenance under continuous use, and produce unsatisfactory emissions.
Current micro turbines suffer from relatively low efficiency, though their reliability can be high. Fuel cells are either high-risk due to their low development state or contaminant susceptibility, or have only moderate efficiency, especially off-design. Each of these technologies is typically developed for operation on a single fuel, which limits the flexibility of the bio-fuel production facility to vary the fuel production based on seasonal variations in feedstock.

Our Air Power Systems proposes commercialization of a high efficient system capable of operating from wind and solar. The power, water extraction, and hydrogen production, patented by Frenchy Krauss APS’s founder, is a novel approach, to give a high efficiency, compact, low-cost, robust and ultra-low emissions plant. Operating in micro-grid architecture, the plant will supply the grid with power while supplying a local load with refrigeration and air conditioning, heat, and fresh water as needed. Loads such as factories, hospitals, apartment complexes and so on would be cooled and heated with Air Power Systems on a continuous basis.

During emergencies such as hurricanes, the Air Power Systems will supply the user with uninterrupted power. Hence, the overall hardship on communities would be greatly reduced, and local emergency response crews would have a far more accessible infrastructure.

We are seeking equity investors to make a financial commitment to assist us to ‘Marketize’ our prototype and launch a commercialized utilitarian system for interconnection with the power companies. We believe our wind turbine will have tremendous profit potential for our investors as well as our customers.

Upon your review of this brief synopsis, should you wish to engage in further interest of APS please express your intentions. If you would like to receive a copy of our Business Plan we will need to execute a NDA.
