CNG Forms Mark, Here are the IRS and State of Florida forms for CNG vehicles, we are updating the site now so if it changes I will let you know but when we got started it was impossible to find any answers to the tax credits, requirements and procedure to follow the law, we have spent a year compiling it and we continue to find out more red tape every week, we will continue to add.

This thread not only pertains to alternative energy for homes, it also includes info on vehicles. We are extremely grateful to Jeff, our Florida leader, who has provided info for the forms on CNG vehicles. I ran across some of the latest news on the current 2009 rebate info for hybrids at this link: http://www.hybridmile.com/news/government-rebate-hybrid/ a February 5 article, which should be helpful to people following this subject. Here is a 2007 article that ties CNG and the electric grid and the home together, helping to create the next generation of household heating and power. Two companies, British motorsport specialist Prodrive working with Disenco Energy to bring its micro combined heat and power (mCHP) unit to the domestic market. Micro CHPs are not only more efficient than current domestic boilers, but they also generate electricity, which, when not being used by a household, could be sold back to the national grid. These Micro CHPs are more than 90 percent efficient converting 70-80 percent of the available energy in natural gas for central heating and between 10 and 25 per cent into electricity. This can reduce an average home’s carbon emissions by between two and six tonnes per year, while saving up to 30 per cent on the household fuel bill too. While there is the current Congressional Session in Washington D.C.mostly mired in healthcare issues, it may be an opportune time to educate them on our oil dependency staus. Perhaps forwarding them emails, phone calls and faxes informing them of how the oil industry is sitting on more domestic oil reserves than the entire world combined will help them sit up and take notice of exactly just how offensive the oil industry has been, especially these past three to four years once they began (in my humble opinion) ripping us off at the pumps. I just came across an alarming story back in May concerning CNG rates that are projected to significantly rise due to a new Climate Bill that may become law soon, check out this story: http://orlando.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories/2008/05/12/story11.html I haven't seen a follow up on this , so it might already be law. The rule in discovering the truth about anything, is to follow the money. So, when stories like these begin showing up, someone must have their hands in it to make money. If this post offends you, then please realize that at times the truth hurts! Although the dream of freeing ourselves from remaining "energy prisoners" is alive, the pressure to prevent implementation of alternative energy has more cash behind it as well as greedy self serving survival interests, as related in this MAY 2009 article in the British Newspaper the Guardian at http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/may/12/us-climate-bill-o.... Just in case this article gets altered or removed, it has been saved in order to perserve the truths held within it. There wiil be those who this strikes a chilling cord with for having the audacity to post something like this news article, for it creates a threat to their prosperity, revealing the truth of their greed and their need to control the energy industry unrestrained. Always be aware that the light of truth will set you free and in this case, will also free us all from remaining "energy prisoners"!
