Indie Film “Haynesville” Will Premiere November 23rd On CNBC

“Haynesville” will premiere on Tuesday, November 23rd at 9pm on CNBC. The one hour documentary will repeat that evening at 10pm, 12am and 1am.

The show will also air on:

Sunday, November 28th at 10pm.

“Haynesville”

When the people in rural Northern Louisiana learn they are sitting on a fortune, they struggle to weigh their big dreams against the safety of their community. Some will take the money and run while others learn to negotiate with the big energy companies who are looking to drill into the trillion-dollar natural gas reservoir that lies deep beneath their homes. Will this be easy money or the fight of their lives, in what some are calling the “new gold rush”?

Subject: Clean Energy Rally THIS Wednesday !!!

Clean Energy Supporter,

Since you came out to our office opening back in August, I thought I’d send you an e-mail about a clean energy rally this Wednesday, in case you hadn’t heard about it yet. If you have, then I apologize for the duplicate message.

We have been busy at Repower America. On the heels of a very successful 72 hour phone call campaign to push for Clean American Power, we are organizing a rally next Wednesday, March 10th, outside of Senator McCaskill's fund-raising event. This event is going to be a chance to show Senator McCaskill that the support for strong clean energy and climate legislation is growing and will not wait. We need her to stand up and support.

Here is the event description:

We are organizing a rally next Wednesday, March 10th, outside of Senator McCaskill's fund-raising event. This event is going to be a chance to show Senator McCaskill that the support for strong clean energy and climate legislation is growing and will not wait. We need her to stand up and support a comprehensive bill this year!

With wide visibility, from t-shirts to signs to clipboarding, this is a real opportunity for Senator McCaskill to see the number of supporters behind clean energy, and we want to make sure that she doesn’t forget it.

President Obama and Senator McCaskill, Show Me Clean Energy! Missouri cannot wait.

We will meet at the Washington Post Coffee House at 1312 Washington Ave at 5:00 this Wednesday.

We hope to see you all there, please distribute widely and contact me with any questions.

Thanks,

Americans Support Clean Energy and Climate Measures

Yesterday, I linked-up with Activist from RePower America, Environmental Defense Fund, MoveOn.org, the PickensPlan, and myself from ReformAutos.org at Sen. Claire McCaskill's St Louis office on Delmar Blvd. In support of: H.R.2454: American Clean Energy And Security Act of 2009.

I left a message for Sen. McCaskill, Produce Legislation which would require Automotive Manufactures to Limit Top Speed of Automotive Products to = 75m.p.h. at the Point of Manufacture!

With Unleaded Regular at = $2.18 a Gal Folks seem to be complacent. I remember when during Bush Adm. Oil went to = $60.00 a Barrel. That was a painful adjustment at that time. People have been through the Merry Go Round effect so now $2.18 a Gal seems a deal. Will have a tendency to kill off Natural Gas rave. I'm sure exactly what Oil Producers are calculating - the price of a Gal which is as high as they can sell but will still seem like a bargain for Drivers.

NOTE: I'll be at a MoveOn.org rally for health care reform in front of Sen. Claire McCaskill's office on Delmar Blvd. tomorrow at noon. Come join me!!!

STAY ALIVE = 75 m.p.h. Limite Top Speed of Automotive Products AT THE POINT OF MANUFACTURE!!!
In addition to alt fuels, NG being 1 of them, I'm concentrating on 1 outragious design aspect of Automotive Products which makes no sense and needs to be corrected; limiting Top Speed. We have Top Speed limits posted on signs on Our highways, but there are no limits for the designers, and manufactures of Automotive Products. 100 m.p.h. < 200 + m.p.h. vehicles are sold, licensed, and given access to Our highways. I'm demanding that legislation be passed limiting Top Speed to 75 m.p.h. AT THE POINT OF MANUFACTURE! I've contacted our 2 Senators via their Form mail. Phoned Congressman Russ Carnahan office, 3 times this past week and did recieve an E-Mail reply (Attached) from Katy Dawson. I'm planning on pursuing a meeting with the Congressman to state my premise that Automotive products should have Top Speed limitations, governors, built into the design, and assembly. Far as I'm concerned this is a no-brainer. Why when the top legal speed limit of the nation = 75 m.p.h. are these automotive manufactures intentionally building vehicles to exceed 75 m.p.h.? Some of them by 2X+ that top legal speed! By alerting these Lawmakers to this absurdly flawed practice I've put them in: Check-Mate; as there is no logical, rational, reasonable, nor senseable argument to oppose my premise. Unless your a con, or in collusion with the Criminal/Justice Enterprises which profit from the violators whom drive these vehicles recklessly, and the carnage, suffering, loss of life, and slaughter they cause. Maintaining the status quo is not only nonsenseical, it's irresponsible and needs to be corrected. Now!

I plan on attending the Move-On "Public Option Now!" Health Care Rally in Clayton, MO at noon at Sen. Kit Bonds office. I'm not strongly alligned with the Move On Org, but all of our efforts are connected: Health Care = micro, the individual. The Environment = macro. Affecting the Environment is our use, and abuse of Energy, the greatest volume of which is burned in Internal Cumbustion Engines = Automotive products, hench: ReformAutos.org . Limit Top Speed to = 75 m.p.h. at the point of manufacture and save fuel; energy. Health Care < Transportation < Environmental viability.

The Ralley is open to all concerns. it's short notice, but if your available, come on down and join me!

A major article in the Wall Street Journal echoes what T. Boone Pickens has been saying for nearly a year: There is enough natural gas under the continental United States to serve all of our needs for upwards of 100 years.

Check out the Daily PIckens, where you can read full the article.

Hi Team,

I wanted to let you know that between now and April 19, over the Congressional Easter Recess, we have an opportunity to reach our Members of Congress in their home districts! Having our leaders hear from us, the constituents, makes the biggest impact!

So here's what to do:

The focus is now on 2 new pieces of legislation: NAT GAS Act of 2009 and RES (Renewable Electricity Standard). Boone needs your help to rally local supporters to contact your elected officials during the Congressional Recess.

Here is what you can do:

1) Generate letters, emails and calls to your Members of Congress during the Congressional Recess
2) Set up meetings with your Members of Congress or an aide over the next week while they are on recess
3) Organize local meetings, events, happy hours, receptions with local supporters and urge them to call or email their representative on the spot!
4) Submit Op Eds & Letters to the Editor to local newspapers and media outlets (If you want to do this option, let me know and I will be glad to help! )

Contact info for your Congressmen and Senators can be found at http://www.house.gov/ or http://www.senate.gov/

Finally, please post any updates on activity that you initiate in your district. I report to Boone on a daily basis, and your feedback keeps him up-to-date!

KEEP PUSHING!
