Indie Film “Haynesville” Will Premiere November 23rd On CNBC

“Haynesville” will premiere on Tuesday, November 23rd at 9pm on CNBC. The one hour documentary will repeat that evening at 10pm, 12am and 1am.

The show will also air on:

Sunday, November 28th at 10pm.

“Haynesville”

When the people in rural Northern Louisiana learn they are sitting on a fortune, they struggle to weigh their big dreams against the safety of their community. Some will take the money and run while others learn to negotiate with the big energy companies who are looking to drill into the trillion-dollar natural gas reservoir that lies deep beneath their homes. Will this be easy money or the fight of their lives, in what some are calling the “new gold rush”?

The latest petition " Energy indepenence now petition" is a new one we all need to sign.

Please take a second to do it.
Thanks for all you are doing as the labor continues!

This plan, organized by a great patriot and philanthropist, who has untold buisness savy, just might save this great country from it's own voracious appetite for oil by giving us a way to move the government in the direction of cleaner, often renewable, ultimately less costly ways of generating the power we need and also reemploy Americans.

Email, call, send a letter, write a letter to the editor, today to say THANK YOU to Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey for introducing the Senate version of the NAT GAS Act of 2009!!

More than 35 Members of Congress joined T. Boone Pickens for a photo on the steps of the United States Capitol to celebrate the first anniversary of The Pickens Plan, July 8, 2009. These Members of Congress represent the nearly 70 co-sponsors of H.R. 1835, the NAT GAS Act.

Shortly after this photo was taken, Boone was escorted to the U.S. Senate side of the Capitol to participate in the introduction of the Senate version of the NAT GAS Act, S. 1408 by Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey and Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nevada) is an original co-sponsor of S. 1408.

It's good to see Scott Garrett our Rep has signed on to the plan... I usually email whoever our rep is a few times a year with concerns or atta-boys, as the case may be... Scott will get a back slap for this one :)

As far as our Senators... I guess the only way to get to them is to find out what lobby group they are currently entertaining...

Hey--I don't know if any of you know where Mahwah is, but a bunch of people from my school started what we call the M.E.V.O.--Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization. Basically we've been conducting cleanups, hikes, etc., and we've even attended some town hall meetings to oppose the construction of a large gas station in close proximity our school.

Thought I'd put that out there; NJ youth has a growing voice for the environment--anybody here from Mahwah?
