Comment by tom wilson on December 18, 2008 at 12:09pm: i think that mr pickens is right we need to stop depending on over seas oil and the people in washington need to be on board or they need to be fired they are out for themselves it seem let all they do is get rich and me need to get rid for those spec interest gropes for yrs they have done nothing in washington thanks

It could easily become the greatest thing I have ever done. I enjoy helping others and would be glad to take the petition around for signitures. I don't want to be a sole leader, but if I could be on a leadership team and share the responsibility, I can be a loyal helper. I believe we already have a couple of women ddoing some organizing. Being from an oil and gas producing state, I expect us to be a BIG VOICE in Washington about getting free from foreign sources. Besides, it just doesn't get much windier anywhere else! Perhaps it was fortuitous that our little cul de sac is the last hold out maybe I kind do a little friendraising at the local starbucks and host a house party to bring in new members....

I just wanted to thank you all for your interest in taking a leadership role in your District! What's great about the OK-05, unlike other districts, is that so many of you want to take a key role in the future of your district. So, instead of just having one person saddled with the responsibility, we have the opportunity to have an OK-05 Leadership "Team."

This way, no one person is overburdened and the OK-05 has the potential to be the most productive district in the country for the Pickens Plan! This will really pay off when Pickens Plan legislation comes up for a vote on the Hill.

I just wanted to reach out and thank you all for your interest in really stepping up to make a difference in your community and your district.

With all of you working together as a team, the Pickens Plan efforts locally are really going to take off.
