Many members have been asking me how to go about doing various things in relation to the Pickens Plan. I know that most are not used to public endeavors such as this so I thought I would offer a suggestion on one place that members could hold meet-ups or even sign up new members in a kind of low key, easy to do environment.
I think that the Panera Bread restuarant chain offers just the kind of setting that people may be looking for. They have free wi-fi access so that you can take your laptop along and they like people to have meetings there. In addition there is a public bulletin board where you could post a Pickens flyer along with times you are going to be at the restaurant if anyone wants to get more information or sign the pledge. All around it seems like a very low stress way to go about it which won't push too many people outside their comfort zones as far as public speaking goes.
Here is the link to the Panera site
where you can search for restaurants in your area.
