Senitor DeMint questions and responses

I just attended a Greenwood Chamber of Commerce event whose speaker was Senitor DeMint. After his presentation he opened it to questions. I stood up, told the group that I was SC-03 district leader for T. Boone Pickens energy support plan and ask him how could his constituency get better access to him. I told him that our group sends out many emails but all we get is his auto responder. He said that he has his staff reading the emails and he gets a summery of them. He further said that they were very important to him and we should keep them up. However he said that to get personal attention we need to contact his Pickens office to petition for what we need. I think we need to come up with a way to either request personal time through his office or find a better way of communicating through his Pickens office.
