Indie Film “Haynesville” Will Premiere November 23rd On CNBC

“Haynesville” will premiere on Tuesday, November 23rd at 9pm on CNBC. The one hour documentary will repeat that evening at 10pm, 12am and 1am.

The show will also air on:

Sunday, November 28th at 10pm.

“Haynesville”

When the people in rural Northern Louisiana learn they are sitting on a fortune, they struggle to weigh their big dreams against the safety of their community. Some will take the money and run while others learn to negotiate with the big energy companies who are looking to drill into the trillion-dollar natural gas reservoir that lies deep beneath their homes. Will this be easy money or the fight of their lives, in what some are calling the “new gold rush”?

Letters to the editor are some of the most effective ways of communication today! Op-Eds and local LTE are terrific marketing tools that allow you to convey your thoughts and ideas to your friends, family and neighbors. They are fun, make an impact and, best of all, FREE!

Help Boone spread his message of ending our dependence on foreign oil.

Do you want to have a letter to the editor you write published in your local newspaper? If so, message me on Push or email me at Geoffrey@pickensplan.com and I can help you come up with a LTE of your own.

It's the little effort we make today that makes the big difference tomorrow!

Good Afternoon!

We are smack dab right in the middle of August Recess. Members of Congress (MOC) are back in their districts, holding events and Town Hall meetings. This is our time to shine army! While the majority of the current Town Hall meetings are focusing on Health Care, other issues are covered as well. I would encourage you to attend your MOC Town Hall and ask them a few quick questions:

1. What is your plan to end our dependence on foreign oil?
2. If you don’t have a plan, do you support the Pickens Plan?
3. If so, would you sign the Pickens Pledge?
4. Are you a Co-Sponsor of HR 1835, “The Natural Gas Act of 2009?” It’s a vital piece of legislation that, for the first time, gives the right incentives for natural gas to become a viable transportation fuel alternative to foreign oil. It currently has 77 bipartisan Co-Sponsors in the House – split almost evenly between Republicans and Democrats.

To find out where your MOC is having their next Town Hall meeting, visit their website and email/call their office for more information. You can do that here: http://www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW_by_State.shtml or by calling the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Also, don’t forget about your Senators! S 1408 is the sister bill of HR 1835 and we need to make sure all 100 members of the United States Senate have signed up as Co-Sponsors! You can check out where your Senators are having Town Halls in your area by emailing/calling their offices for dates and locations. You can do that here: http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm or by calling the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Together, we can end our dependence on foreign oil. But it is going to take all of us working together. The effort we put in today will give us the secure energy future we want for tomorrow!

Super work there Scott!

Keep it up!

As for me, my family and work responsibilities require me to resign as a district leader.

It was a pleasure meeting you and attempting to lead with you!

In the meantime, I will be saving live trees, climbing and removing dead trees and I will be consulting with different businesses about installing load levelers, wind energy management systems as well as contracting to supply welding shops and large building supply houses with our smaller stored energy, non polluting Xtreme Power Solution units.

Scott,

Awesome job my man! If you meet with Tommy or your County Commissioner again, you might see if they would be willing to pass a "Pickens Plan Resolution" Draft_Resolution.pdf.

We have had city, county and municipal governments across the country pass these resolutions, effectively commiting to lowering our dependence on foreign oil at the local level.

On 1 9April I met at length with Bexar county commissioner Tommy Atkisson and find that he is totally on board with the PP. We discussed ways we can work in tandem to acheive our mutual goals. He welcomes our presence and support. In our meeting he bourght me up to date with the County and San Antonio's activities related to developing responsible energy policies. I advised that I would get the DL's and other members to come to his support when needed. All in all it was a great meeting. I also met with my county commissioner who revealed he was most aware of the PP. I will have to work on him a bit!

I encourage each of us to pursue this same avenue in our own cities and counties.

Let's keep the fight going!

Hey all, I heard back from Henry Cuellar today and as requested, it is not a form letter!!!!! Geoff,

April 8, 2009

Mr. Scott Cunningham

Post Office Box 57

Lytle, TX

Dear Mr. Cunningham:

Thank you for contacting me about upcoming energy legislation in the House of Representatives. I understand and appreciate your views on this issue, and I value this opportunity to respond to you.

I support efforts to develop renewable sources of energy such as ethanol, bio-diesel, and cellulosic technologies as a means of renewing our energy independence. I have worked with my colleagues in the House to promote research into the feasibility of alternative forms of energy such as wind and solar energy in South Texas. I believe these sources of energy can be developed in a way that will be of benefit to everyone in the United States. Energy independence is a national security issue with wide-ranging economic and environmental issues that affects every American. I know Americans worry about the security of our nation and our growing dependence on foreign oil, which is why I will monitor the pending energy package with their and your views in mind as this legislative year proceeds.

Once again, thank you for contacting me. For more information on my views and legislation, please visit my congressional website at www.house.gov/cuellar. Please do not hesitate to share your views with me on this or any other matter in the future.

Sincerely,

Henry Cuellar, Ph.D.

U.S. Congressman

28th District of Texas

VIRTUAL MARCH DAY 2 - Boone Needs YOU

The Department of Energy has released the oil import figures for the month of March 2009. The data shows we imported 386 barrels at a cost of $18 billion. While we are importing less oil because of the recession, the percentage of oil we are importing is remaining disappointingly stable. The March numbers show we imported 65% percent of the oil we used.

Over the past 12 months, America has had to import nearly two-thirds of the oil we need. In 2008 that amounted to $475 billion dollars. Keep in mind, this is not a one-time payment like a stimulus package or a bail-out bill. This is an annual cost of over $400 billion per year.

OK ! Git-er-dun.
Here is a link that will get you right to emails for the Pres, our Senators (Kay Baily Hutchinson is already on board with the Plan) and Congressman Henry Cuellar.

Now I just got off the phone with Henry Cuellar's office and have encouraged his support for the Natural Gas Act of 2009. I also left a voicemail with his scheduler requesting a visit with him the next time he is in this area.
