My company would like to build and make Green USA cars, using compressed Air Powered, CNG and other technology. They should sell between $5,000 and $10,000. Our intent is to power these vehicles with a multi-fuel, high efficiency, low cost engine, which is working fluid agnostic, made in the USA. Autos cost too much, and are far behind the technology curve. Possibly collaboration with Select Latin American/ East European intersts. JR CEO SPI, Inc JRIAM1945@aol.com. It will happen. 3.5 billion bbls of imported oil is spilled in US highways alone. that is unsustainable. Technology is disruptive. Vehicle should have 500,000 mile power train warrantees, plug and play. The economic justification to the customers is clear. To the early adopters, will go the spoils. It is a zero sum game. The US has the wherewithall, but to date, our roles seem to be relegated to car assemblers. Our Congress is/ will be very supportive. The business model for autos, to be successful is changed. There will be a profound, “second shoe” in auto paradigm shift. We will either be leaders, or take second position to the extremely fine international technologists; they’ve succeed in steel, IT, concrete, manufacturing, service, outsourcing, do you think auto’s are going to be different? Look at the “one standing” US mfgr, which did not take the government funds, FORD. They installed a technologist, ex-head of Boeing. The technology tools for a rapid auto make-over exists. But, they won’t follow the equations, and club-designs heretofore. Deja Vue, look at the computer manufacturer’s before the PC’s took hold. Lots of US jobs, balance of payments at stake here. Do we default or defer again?
