We all know that the economic and social impacts of the impending change over from petroleum based fuels to renewable biofuels will be "pervasive". To me that means short-term fuel price fluctuations, unimpeded inflation, the loss of even more high paying American jobs as well as John Q. Public will en mass have to create and use even more risky "short-term survival" strategies than basic survival has demanded since the Civil War. This is going to hurt a lot now. But, it will feel like being skinned alive later.
How much do you think it's going to hurt and why?
