I just graduated from Washington and Jefferson College and am looking for work. I majored in international business and also Spanish. I took one lab course on environmental science where alternative energy was the main focus.

Greg: Thanks for the invite. Yes, I am a solar professional. I gave my first lecture on the Solar Economy in 1981 at Research Triangle Institute. I have a company that is planning and designing a 200 MWe solar-hydrogen power plant for California.

I was the founder and president of Solaronics, Inc, an alternative energy company that operated from 1978 to 1984. I sold and installed a variety of low temperature solar thermal energy and alternative energy technologies. I researched and applied cost-effective conservation techniques for commercial and residential HVAC applications. I designed and built specialized heat pumps, including groundwater heat pumps, swimming pool dehumidification/heating systems, etc.

My University major was Geological Science and minor was in Information Technology. I have worked in computer technology and IP Networking since 1984. I currently operate a Wireless Internet Service Provider business. I also work extensively in Illinois and National Politics as a conservative activist.

We have a utility construction company & have always worked primarily in gas distribution, renewals and line integrity. I really don't know all that much about alternative energy on the large scale but we'd be willing to try something new.... just throwing that out there in case anyone is interested :)

Hey guys, and thank you for the invite. I'm currently a writing professional, with a GCPA certification in the state of Georgia. I'm currently still a college student and still an active opinion/political writer and alternative energy advocate. If there is any way I can be of help, let me know.

My background is in sales & marketing ..... for purposes of being part of this alternative energy movement, does anyone have any connections in Florida?
Sam Fleet Comment by Sam Fleet on August 14, 2008 at 4:34am
Thank you for the invite Kim! I am currently doing PR and marketing for solar in GA. I have the online store for promo items www.zazzle.com/samfleet. As a Realtor, I am also seeking new RE businesses to bring to GA. I am our group leader for Pickens Plan in the state. As a part of AWIT, I am seeking investors and projects related to wind energy. ANd I want to do more! This is a great discussion to get started! Have a Windy Day! Sam
