Kris Wilson, Eco Fantasy Tour creator, songwriter/producer

As per request of Monte I’m putting my experience out here as an “Artist”. Anything I can do for the PP army to get this plan pushed I will be more than happy to help. The book and soon to be play, Eco Fantasy Tour, will promote the plan for one. I am the founder and now VP of Ozark Environmental Awareness Fund, a 105c3 organization. Unfortunately due to the economic crises the world is currently facing, getting funded is proving to be difficult. I am one of those who truly believe the way out of this economic mess is through innovative new energy technology solutions. So many jobs can be created to solve our energy problems. The solutions are out there! My show will promote some of these solutions via videotape. If after reading my “resume” anyone has any ideas of where I can be of help, let me know.

I started off playing guitar in 1975 and immediately went right into being a songwriter and performed at folk festivals. After moving to Branson, MO, in 1981 I joined my then husbands’ band and hit the road. From 1989-1995 I performed in several of the live shows here in Branson. During that time I produced 5 recording projects including, “Children of the Ozarks Sing for the Environment” which led to “The Get Well Play” that I co-wrote. The play, sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, performed to elementary schools and conservation departments across SW Missouri. My mother was an elementary music schoolteacher for 40 years so it seems appropriate for me to work with children and carry on my Mother’s passion. Also during that time I promoted 5 outdoor music festivals, Ozark 94 concert and songwriting showcases. I recently revised “The Get Well” play and wrote “Eco Fantasy Tour” while living in Nashville. I have been totally focused for the last two years on getting this project off the ground and moved back to Branson to get OEAF back up and running. The book is written, the songs are written, the characters are lined up, a theater has been found and the script is ready to be played out!

I really believe this army will be the major force behind getting this new energy movement moving forward! Now let’s get our leaders to listen!

You seem to have a lot of what we need and I hope it comes around to also meet your needs too. I am a songwriter, but not a successful one, in that none have been published or performed. Still, I do have some of that stuff and hope to share it. It would be awesome to have a real band playing nationwide for a very excited real solution audience. It was my second time to watch it and it was as good (or better) the second time as the first. What an incredible story! What an incredible man! What one guy with a banjo, some folk songs and a desire to make things better can accomplish.

When I work I listen to the radio. We have horrible radio stations her in Fort Smith. This station I listen to plays C&W, Blues and Classic Rock. Today as I was staining cabinet doors I was actually listening to the lyrics of these songs and the message being delivered on the aesthetic wavelength. It was dismal. It was depressing. It was such a calculated trap to seduce the individual into an insatiable thirst for sensation of the most base kind.

What you're doing Kris is awesome! What you said Gregory...you're right on!

The time has come. We have got to move out of the discussion rooms and onto the playing field in action.

I am so fortunate to have you both as my friends.
