Everyone in this group should also attend Atlanta Beyond Oil. There are about 30 of us that meet up near Grant Park once a month.

The format is usually potluck dinner, a guest speaker and then discussion.

If anyone knows any gov leaders personally, let's invite them to sit in on our meeting. Also, if you have a friend in Media, tell them to come sit in and report on it!

Wednesday is unfortunately not the best day for me. Tuesday will work better - Wednesdays I tend to get yanked in 19 different directions.

I can recommend some good meeting venues since I organize Meetups. In Midtown: Gordon Biersch, The Vortex, Manuel's Tavern. In Buckhead: 3 Dollar Cafe on Roswell Road. If you are willing to go to Sandy Springs, 5 Seasons and Charlie Mopps will work well.

I could do next Wednesday afternoon. Buckhead is best, but Midtown wouldn't be a problem.
