Big Wind Biochar Dump Load Regulation

Information

Big Wind Biochar Dump Load Regulation

an electrical pyrolysis load allows excess wind energy to be used to maximize char and syngas production..syngas generators then produce electrical energy under low wind conditions, forming a carbon negative base load solution.

Boone's Big Wind Project is on hold. This would be a good time to push for Biochar and Waste-to-Energy projects.

i don't think that's fair to some of the other major contributors here...(unless there was a particular sting of comments you where referring to)....we are all shapers of a shared summation...i don't even like to consider myself a "leader" here...maybe "the guy that keeps things from drifting too far off" would be ok.

the way i understood it, his turbines are paid for but won't arrive till '11'...and he's felling the economic down turn just like the rest of us ( i think he's going to be looking for wind siteing partners..i don't think he will have much trouble..gee where do i sighn? )...see,Texas has become a bit inhospitable to the turbines...there are allot of them down there and tensions amongst "traditionalists" are on the rise...

that's all...Boone might be getting too big for Texas, but i like to think of it as America shedding it's skin....some of us molt and some get molted...either way,we are past due for crawling out of what isn't working anymore.

Just Do It! We need to pursue Biochar Technology, Plasma Technology, Microwaves, and anything else that will help promote CLEAN renewable energy. I followed James' post to T. Boone Pickens with one of my own.

"Happy 1 year anniversary for the Pickens Plan!! As we renew our commitment to the fight for American Energy Independence, are there any new goals for the Pickens Plan? As James Tracy stated below, pollution control and waste-to-energy are important considerations for our American Energy Policy. The long term goal needs to be to find renewable energy resources which will allow us to maintain clean air and clean water on this planet for as long as possible. When we run out of food, water, and air humans will have to find another place to live, ready or not."

it's almost like three different ways of saying the same thing....

coal plant carbon emissions need to be curbed...what am i supposed to do...shut of my computer?...almost everything else stays off already...i'm saving 18 Kwh/ month by not showering until i can't stand myself...and since you guys can't smell me through this keyboard i figure i'm making up for it...

all i'm saying here(or should i say we?) is that the same technology applied to scrubbing carbon at the stack would more effectively be applied to other applications that would effectively accomplish the same thing...

WILE ALSO recovering some of the energy lost to waste(displacing the need for coal current in the lines) and providing soil amendments for our "bankrupt" soils (reducing the need for fertilizers derived from NG)....and both could also function as "power storage solutions"....

ok guys... i don't think we can knock any harder than that with out actually breaking down the door.

Yeah spamming is kinda rude. But he specifically "supposedly" said microwave BS? Which is my invention. I have had words with Mike before. I do not ever back down from what I know to be true.
Robert Schultz Comment by Robert Schultz on July 8, 2009 at 8:19am
I'm with you James, there's a lot more options out there to consider. But, T. Boone Pickens himself says that he is open to a better plan, or modifying his own, if someone has a better idea.

I support open discussion of all alternatives, but I think Mike Pickens was trying to draw the line on excessive promotion of a specific company.
