Big Wind Biochar Dump Load Regulation

Information

Big Wind Biochar Dump Load Regulation

an electrical pyrolysis load allows excess wind energy to be used to maximize char and syngas production..syngas generators then produce electrical energy under low wind conditions, forming a carbon negative base load solution.

This is DARYLL DICKSON and i was banned after i went against the GROUP PASSS THE WORD ON, I DID NOT ---
Flew past shooting a trail of W2Energy material, burned out and disappeared. %%%W2W.
I beleive this is why i was banned--
Mike Pickens has sent you a message on PickensPlan

now i've used a plasma torch (the kind designed for cutting various metals) and it sounds dead on for their description of a plasma arc... electric current conducting across a low pressure gas (in the case of the torch ,the shielding gas also used to protect your work from oxidation)...

so right away,my mind floats to argon, CO^2, and mix..and i start thinking the exhaust from a syngas generator would be CO...monoxide..would that serve as a carrier gas?.if so, would the C atoms bond to the O be strong enough to
to withstand the the levels of plasma arc disruption at pyrolysis temperatures?...or would the O get pulled into the pre exothermic feed stock?..
possibly entraining the C post exothermic?

sorry all the questions...i just want a bio-char regulator of my own someday for wood lot management...maybe some day i'll be able to just buy one... either way,it's still really interesting stuff.

Here is a link to several waste to energy systems, with plans, from the 1990's.

agreed...plasma technologies might not be able to hit a home run in a field that extends past the horizon ( nor can any tech for that mater..though char comes close ),but damn, can it run the bases.
it is likely the best technology to address coal...and is the best electrical pyrolysis technology.....and either application is big winds best bet in non-redundant power storage

as dwindling coal, and growing biochar applications, are the "missing link" in the Pickens Plan, that bridges the Wind and NG....as James stated ,it should be backed by PP!!
James Tracy Comment by James Tracy on July 7, 2009 at 9:18am
Well his account is gone. And I agree with Eric, I also noted that they have added clean coal recently to the w2 site. I have been with PP since the begining and with over 4000 friends on PP. Mr. Pickens makes a good speech, and a good show, but I dont see any real change. Boone nor the Oil, coal and NG people want waste to energy, its just more competition. It should be obvious. The PP is only for Boone to use US to get what HE wants. Waste to energy has been held back for over 20 years. If Boone wants to do something, he should back this as well as wind and NG.

Yeah....i'm a little puzzled as to why he didn't have the time to at least pull up a chair...

i found the W2 presentation to be informative...and the process schematics incomplete...(obviously over simplified to the point of being initially confusing)

i have concluded that the "free energy" claim is in reference to the "other wise discarded" as zero.. or non- inclusive of the previous energy investment contained in our trash....making W2 an energy conservation measure tacked onto an inherently flawed system.

with modern agriculture putting food on the plate at 10% efficiency...the bottom line remains....

we need to be at, or above, 100% people fuel efficiency before energy supply crosses energy demand...

Looks like Daryll Dickson was a 4th of July bottle rocket. Flew past shooting a trail of W2Energy material, burned out and disappeared.

Daryll...where did you go?

did you move to Toronto???

Anyone who wants to add me as friend, i am trying to spread word about waste to energy. I have found a compny that has proven tech and is doing it know, check them out , thanks http://www.w2energy.com

at 1/3 the input of arc plasma i would say we have a clear winner in electrical pyrolysis technologies...i certainly hope you have lots of grant money and a multi department development team James.

as Larry hinted toward earlier, the most effective goal might be the production of a community scale regulator with the added flexibility that your technology offers.
James Tracy Comment by James Tracy on June 24, 2009 at 5:26am
I have several other ways those systems can be more efficient, and emit less, particularly coal, cement and pyrolysis systems.
