It occurred to me that the auto bailout might present an opportunity to advance the Pickens Plan, especially in the area of conversion of automobiles to natural gas, here is the article, http://www.examiner.com/x-1863-Denver-City-Buzz-Examiner~y2008m12d13-What-the-auto-bailout-means-to-Denver > Perhaps we ought to begin contacting the next Congress and the Pres Elect

Novan is the name of a goup in Golden, Co that work with both photovoltaic, and solar thermal. They specialize in larger projects, so the might be great for a 250 unit townhome community.

I met the group of guys that run this at a CORE meeting. They were giving the presentation that night.
hope this helps.

Hi Robert,
My wife and I live in Fort Collins during the summer and winter in Mexico. We have a few environmental projects down there. I wish to learn more about the newest solar technology so we can use it where we have sun 365 days a year,

I live in a townhome community in Denver with 250 units( approx. 2100 sq. ft. on three floors, 700 sq ft. roof area). Each unit has its own roof, we have a large clubhouse with an excellent roof for solar panels and additionally we have about an acre of grass in the middle of the complex and other areas that could accommodate wind turbines. We are right next to three other similar complexes. I have contemplated for the last year, and that is all, how one complex or all four could come together and create a 250 to 1000 member alt enery co-op. I know there are government grants and Xcel energy, our local energy co.,has rebates and will buy back excess energy. Any ideas?

Create and supply your own power.
Take a look at our group site Mariah Power. The Windspire is now on display in Washington D.C. at the U.S. Capitol Botanic Garden through October 2008. Units are going up in California, Nevada, and Utah now, and we will very visable and effective throughout Hawaii this year. Mariah will be available worldwide as production increases with the completion of a new plant in Youngstown, Ohio. For more information contact Bill Mollring at : 831 402-2037 mrbillmaui@yahoo.com -
