PickensPlan

Several documents are posted in this Discussion from time to time, for review, proofreading, and editing. Please feel free to download and edit, and repost. Or just provide your comments and suggestions. All constructive suggestions are welcome - that's the nature of the editing process. The goal is a better document for distribution.

Once documents are "finalized," we will move them to the "Resources" section and consider posting at other locations on the site.

Thank you all for contributing to the support of the PickensPlan. - Ron

Cheryl, perhaps the best way we have right now is the Discussion you started in the Forum section of the site. Hence, here's an idea - perhaps (as the starter of that discussion on the Forum, titled "Bulletin No. 4", you have this ability) you can "edit" the Discussion, and change the title to:

"Useful Information, Guides and Downloads" - from the Communications Support group

Then write something like this as the description (perhaps less verbose than my writing that follows):

The Communications Support group is pleased to provide you with summary information about how to navigate the PickensPlan site, lists of groups which have been formed, and several other informational guides. In addition, we have developed flyers and brochures you can download and either print or forward to others.

Our group of volunteers is dedicated to helping you have a better experience on PickensPlan. If you have any comments or suggestions on our current or possible additional efforts we can undertake, please enter them below. If you would like to volunteer to update our guides, write articles, produce flyers, or otherwise assist our efforts, please join as under "Groups" / "Communications Support."

Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support of the PickensPlan. Together we truly can make a difference.

If that works, I think we will gain the documents a lot more exposure. I'll work on seeing if a "Note" can be published - or if we can list the documents elsewhere. But the PickensPlan people are truly busy, so we might be "on our own" for a while. We can thank them for making our Group as "Featured Group" and the discussion you started on Bulletin No. 5 a "Featured Discussion."

We may also desire to repeat the Discussion Content above under the "Communications Support" group site itself, and under the "Leaders and Organizers Start Here" group site. Perhaps in one or two other places, as well.

We can then upload documents, as they are produced and finalized.

What do you think? Will that work for now? Ron

But, this document is simply good sound common sense that we should all abide by. It should be posted in an easy to find and reviewable location.

Jed was kind enough to provide a great flyer on "Six Dollar Gas." I subsequently edited it some. Here's the edited version, and Jed is working on some more changes. Please let us know your thoughts, observations, and recommendations. Thank you. Ron

Update: Jed's revised version is posted in the comment immediately below. Thanks.

Another product from the mad scientist. Heh, Heh! Among my many talents, I have done TV voice overs and narrations for documentaries. If you need a narration any time in the future I'm sure we can do a remote by phone for an audition. This is a lot of fun, I'm energized by it all.
