Hi folks,

I hope that anyone that lives in the CT-04 district will join the group, and help us with by simply lending their name to the group. Our 1st goal is to bring the Pickens Plegde to congressman-elect Himes. Even though we're not exactly in the wind corridor, CT stands to benefit from a successful execution of the Pickens Plan.

Mr. Pickens ....Can a dvd be made of your presentation at Salt Lake? I would buy it , as I think others would, and show it locally at schools, libraries, or where ever I could get a crowd to see it.

My fellow Nutmeggers,

I've gotta say, I'd rather setup shop here in CT where my roots are, but the situation on the ground is that there is insufficient interest in keeping 250 future jobs here.

Does anyone from CT have any comments?

We need to get the word out within our communities. Idea's for accomplishing that may be through Chambers of Commerce, and Service Clubs, like Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, etc. I am willing to help organize.

Greetings Friends,
We all need to thank Mr. Pickens for explaining the energy problem that we as a nation face. Earlier it was one Group (users) pointing fingers at the other Group (suppliers) and vice versa. The problem is real. It was magnified to some extent, in recent times, by speculators. But, the truth is we are importing more oil every year and producing less. We are sending billions of dollars overseas.

I like Mr. Pickens Plan but I think it needs to be supplemented by other plans. It by itself will not get us to Energy Independence. It will just buy us more time. For this reason I have posted a petition for Energy Independence .
