The Schhool Year is underway....

Well we are all off and running I am sure at full speed. We realize that there is a fundamental shift taking place in education and we are trying to push Kentucky's Technical Education Program in the right direction. There are a lot of people looking for help and for information. We have already had one meeting working out curriculum and career pathways and it seems to be growing. I will directly be involved from a few different perspectives.
The pilot schools are all moving forward and I hope to provide regular updates for all members to read about. Renewable is Doable........but we have to jump in and do it..... take action and stop the talking about what to do. Enthusiasm is contagious when people see some results.
This week we will begin work on tying our schools hallway lighting load to our solar power system. What are you doing? Let us know.......

First, I want to praise and commend all you teachers and educators for the selfless work you do molding the minds of America;s future--our children. God Bless You!

Second, I believe educating our children in alternative and renewable energy is one of the best and most effective avenues to revolutionize our energy future. And a child shall lead them. We just have to let them understand first.

Third, I have 4 generations living together in this household, including 3 of my grandchildren. I'm hands on raising kids yet again. They are 10th grade, 5th grade, and 4th grade. The advanced placement fifth grader has applied for middle school in the math, science, technology magnet program. I'm seeing middle school as a prime target to plant the seeds for our future leaders in energy alternatives. Anyone agree?

Georgia Institute has interesting research on aquatic plants used as a renewable energy source. Check out the DATCP and OEMC ! www.suscon.org and www.state.cous. DATCP to better leverage federal and state programs funding sources for rural renewable projects. Identify the need for loan guarantees for waste and odor mitigation. Alternative fuels Incentive Act seems to be moving right along in many states. What is spongiform encephalopathy ? What is a prion ? IBON was an interesting read and check out NASSA and what's happening on MARS ! I've been over like curious George and driving the green minds nuts. Down HR 4435 ready set S 2196 hike ! Innovative energy research development and deployment program for private industry research ? A lots going on if you read what's happening on Mars as well. David Hawkins is our Natural Resources defense Counsel. Dr. James Hansen is the director of NASSA Goddard Institute for Space Studies.Americaspower.org and this is exciting to see happening and taking off ! Have you guys checked out what's going on with DC schools and Rhee ? Some of those stories are so wild they may remind you of the old Twilight Zone show !

I already teach alternative fuels in my transportation technolgy class. I have 13 electric fuel cell cars the students operate on solar power and hydrogen extracted from water.

We could lobby the State Legislature to begin a program to convert all public schools and government buildings to Geo-thermal heating and cooling. Ft. Knox is in the final phase of converting every building on post to Geo-thermal and they savings in fuel expenses is beyond the wildest expectations!

McCain is running around Capital Hill trying to work a deal on the $700 billion dollar bail out.McCain wants terms of agreement before he leaves but wants to make the debate and has every intention of doing so.That's pretty much what CNN just announced in viewing McCain's schedule in making the debate. He'll make it and Obama is on the way ! Right now they have a discussion draft on the table and staff workers were up until five in the morning last night. They've been home to sleep for a while. Draw a pie and slice it with the solutions and percentages on 700 billion dollars viewing the principals of consideration included. We need visuals ! Obama calls it the "Principals of Fairness" 1. Oversight 2.Tax Payers Risk/Reward 3.Excutive Compensation 4.Accountability 5.Foreclosures 6. Federal Insurance Corp. So far these are parts of the slices on the pie in discussion. We need Math teachers and the math wizards ! Research on go ! 10,000 foreclosures a day is estimated at cost of--------? We need visuals ! Don't forget the CIA and FBI is in there investigating fraud and we do not see their report yet. We hope McCain makes it in all the Wall Street confusion to Mississippi ! Galveston and Texas needs help ! Gov. Thomas headed for Washington and needs and estimated 11 million. The US is in debt an estimated 11 trillion dollars. Where will we borrow the money for this bail out ? Lots of questions to answer ! Washington Mutual was taken over by JPMorgan Chase. We need a pie on the banks failing in all this too ! Wind, solar, bio fuels,o carbon electricty, sugar cane, poop to methane, coal to liquid fuels, natural gas, hybrid cars ! Plug it all in ! Open those factories closed for solar and wind innovations for the nation ! Someone smarter in math and financial investments will I'm sure tell us how to fast track investments to make it happen. Look into BP Capital Management ! I'm following CNN ! Stayed tuned for station identification ! Do the Orginal Hamster dance ! Energy Independence and National Security ! "Dos e doe show down battle bail out !"Have we got money left for a pig in the blanket and pork& beans ! God Bless !
