low carbon construction of zero carbon housing nested in a carbon soak..the suspention becomes the art of forest damping..ahhhh, to live in the forest and actually feel like you belong there.

the keel mold is done....just need to put down one more coat of tooling gel and finish wet sanding, buff, and wax....the shell mold has also gotten a nice durable coat of the tooling gel...the weather i've been waiting for has arrived...two or three weeks to the first part run (tooling gel is tougher than nails, and not allot of fun to wet sand...my fingers are a a bloody duct taped mess)...onward.

Ok....the the Sky Hatch blow molding rig is operating cleanly, solidly, and without fault...

so the search for the supplier of .25" Makrolon SL continues.....mean wile, the focus shifts to the Keel mould.

Ok....just got off the horn...turns out the bulk pricing was due to the manufacturer discontinuing the part.....but i got a crossreference coming in the mail soon.

so nevermind.

that's it....i'm screwed....the "cathode resistor" is going to force a value swap domino effect through the whole circuit that is going to result in the driver board being out of its operating region.

help.

Ok....i'm going to build my own latch with a couple of transistors....the thing is i already made the board and it's drilled for a TO-92....so now i gotta frankenstein this contraption in there along with the cathode resistor i need to add to make it work....shesh.

I can't believe this....i'm at a total stand still.

all i need is one SCR...just one...is that so much to ask. freakin radio shack, they used to carry all kinds of goodies...I'm building production tooling for the fabrication of vacuum evacuated polycarbonate sky hatches for the illustrious line of fabulous floating tree saucers...

NO I DONT WHANT A REMOTE CONTROLLED CAR!!!!!

I WANT A SPECIFIC SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE!!!!!

on another note, does anyone know where i can get a 4x8 sheet of Makrolon SL.....6mm.....bronze.

See.....this is a problem for me...the other nine hundred and ninety nine parts kinda putt the one i need out of my price range....

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=TCR22-3-ND

can i get set up with some sort of group cause where this kinda thing is a minimized stocking issue instead of a road block?

Subject: rulgerts latest leter to mr. Chudleigh

Hey Tom,

just finished designing the rest of the circuitry for the sky hatch blowing jig,and ordering the parts....im seeing the evacuated poly carbonate domes ,with the octagon flange left on, as a side income product for upgrading regular housing.

The mould is Finished !!!!! YAY....gotta wait till it gets warmer to pour, at least 70 degrees, i had a $120 scrapper due to insufficient foam expansion at 60 (as hot as the shop will go)....still looks really nice til ya walk around to the middle on the outer side:/

the assembly jig is done except for the central weldment...and the keel mould CAD work is done.

Oh...and get aload of the new heat exchanger plans...

copper clad circuit board blanks!!!...it all starts with a 12"x12" 1/16th" fiberglass epoxy single sided 2 ounce copper clad circuit board blank....then i take the 12"x18"x1/16" double sided 2oz.clad board and cut it into 12"x 1/4" strips....two of those get soldered down along opposite edges...then i grab one of the pre- cut 12"x12" 5 mill copper foil sheets that come in packs of six,and solder that across from strip to strip....alternating the orientation of the 12"x1/4" strips by 90 deg........and im imagining you'll guess the rest...and so what i'll have in the end,is a high quality 12"x12" fiberglass epoxy/copper foil heat exchanger core.

neat huh...mr.
