This is a good idea and can complement corporate green paper as U.S. firms and infrastructure clean up their act, but we must remember that debt is still debt, whether the government owes it to its citizens or foreigners.

Former U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton had mentioned green bonds in her campaign for President and I had similar thoughts before she said so.

I am glad that Michael brought it up and is taking it up as a cause.

Mike Sr., It is too late for me to undo at this point. I think there was some confusion as I've been working on this very hard and thought you were talking about a group that existed outside of PickensPlan. I would love to participate on your group also. My goal is to get people the word about this and encourage them to contact their representatives. Do you have a telephone number I can call? I've, at this point, contacted somewhere close to 2,000 people and more on a different place. I also had an internet radio talk show interview today. Email me your telephone number and I'll give you a call.
Best Regards, Mike

Mike, I joined change.gov. Are the US Treasury Energy Independence Bonds talked about on there? I am encouraging people to contact their representatives as I think it will take lots to get the word heard in D. C.
Best Regards,
Mike

Michael

Just a suggestion I like you would like to see everyone on the same group page Im finding myself jumping from one group to another talking about the same topic. We are all for the Energy bonds and serious talks are already going on at Change.gov group. Should we all move to this group?

Mike
