PickensPlan

Okay, as so often happens with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, I need someone to talk me down. Please assure me that it just ain't so.....

I'm concerned. Could it be that the underpinnings of our society that gives us stability and endurance and, to some degree, predictability...are being so aggressively knocked out from under us by individuals that we have elected to serve us in OUR best interests or, those lurking and scheming in the shadows behind them, that by the time we get our plans in place and ready to execute...chaos will rule the day?

Is it just me, or do you too see this scenario existing as a valid possibility if not probability?

And, if you like me, see this situation as a potential reality, shouldn't we be including this unpredictable but valid possibility in our planning? Would it not be prudent for us to, at the very least, discuss this scenario and set forth some contingency plans?

I have this very disturbing perception that at first was just a little rumble in the far off distance but is now sounding more like a big bass drum band marching our in front of the house. I do not accept that what has happened with the economy (the progression of damaging events) nor what is happening at present with the House and Senate stimulus package bills, are events that have "just happened" by way of too many ignoramuses being in the same room and working to serve only their own ends. In other words, these events were not just a case of all the wrong ingredients coming together by unfortunate "chance." The more I see this economic storm played out the more I sense that it was a knowing and deliberate enactment of events following a strategic plan. We are looking at this situation as if it were a were analogous to a horrible weather storm with myriad causes converging to create a financial Katrina. However, with each passing day, I am more and more inclined to believe that this is no such storm. Instead, it is looking more and more to me like an invasion (but by who exactly?) and the fact that such a notion is perceived to be so incredible or squirrelly is its best safeguard. I mean, who in their right mind would even entertain such a thought! In any case, I just do not believe what has happened and what is happening to be an accident. At the very least it's an ingenious piece of long-term social engineering brilliantly carried out and finally coming together. The perfect storm is actually the perfect plan. That being put forth, I cannot begin to imagine or guess yet at what the desired end result might be.

You know, the biggest part of intel is the collection of seemingly disrelated facts that continue to float along in time as such until that moment when you stumble across a piece of data that, in an instant, connects all of the previously disrelated data into one body of data and you suddenly have a recognizable picture to look at. Little by little, if you look, you will see this playing out.

Steve at work,

Following is a comment I posted as a reply to the blog posted by W. Dan Chance titled, Green Jobs: Will they go to illegal aliens?

http://push.pickensplan.com/profiles/blogs/2187034:BlogPost:1631994

Based on a few points you brought up I thought my comment to Dan would also be appropriate here.

......................

Ever find yourself way over in left field and wonder how you ever managed to get so far off the tracks?

Well, if you bother to trace back your steps eventually you will discover that the condition you now find yourself in didn't "just happen." It was caused. Something was intentionally done or not done that altered the course or extant condition. But such a purposeful act of omission or commission is, at the time it occurs, usually something that is not recognized for what it is and therefore goes ignored and uncorrected.

The poblem we have been dealing with and continue to deal with in regards to illegal immigration is not something that "just happened". The unwanted condition, is but a step in the overall world management plan. Just as is the present condition we are in with our economy.

If you are a worker on the assembly line of some factory the lion's share of your attention is on what is going on right in front of you. You do not necessarily have a surplus of attention units to be spreading around looking at everything else that is happening at different sections of the line or in different area of the company you work for. In other words, you are playing the company game from a very specialized and narrow point of view on a small game board within a very big game. Those who control the company that you work for and... it's usually the case that who you believe is running the show is not who is really running the show, are playing the game from an elevation that puts them at a height and distance far enough from the assembly line so that they can see all the assembly lines. Not just of their company but of many others. And from this point of management they strategically move pieces around on the game board according to their plans and end goals.

The average person is on a short leash. Life lived under economic duress does not allow one to look around on the game board. Instead, one's attention, in order to survive, must be kept front and center. Any semblance of getting a view of the bigger picture is mainly acquired via the news media, which is a controlled and managed section on the game board and collectively wears the hat of what could be called, "sheep herder." The American Dream has been booby-trapped. As always the carrot is out there to reach for but the distance between one and the carrot is laden with all manner of pitfalls. The biggest of which is the camouflaged hole i.e, what you think is there is not there or what you think isn't there is.

The same carrot that we have been looking at and striving for since our birth is the one that has been being shown to the world and the world, like us, wants that carrot. But, there was a time when we had in place actual enforceable restictions to effectively manage who entered our country and who didn't. And if they entered how long they could stay, what they could do, etc. But a working system was sabotaged and became a camouflaged hole. And the reason this has happened is a result of an upper management directive. There are some very big changes afoot on the overall game board as enough of the smaller set-up steps have been accomplished.

It's been a wild ride and I assure you that it is about to get a great deal wilder. This is no time for complacency or to allow oneself to become a nonthinking stimulus-response mechanism. Now is the time to LOOK not LISTEN. One's personal reality, the actual conditions at hand are the ingredients for plan formulation and there should be no one without a personal plan of some sort in place. This is not a time to sit idle and think that "they" are going to get it all fixed up. A person must at least consider that the game that "they" are playing just might not be a game that includes them or their family or their friends or takes their future survival into consideration.

I'm quickly approaching the 58 years old mark. I am older than many on this site and younger than some. But in these very quick 57 years I have seen much. I know that there actually is such a thing as "too little too late." I also have seen way too many "somedays" become "yesterdays." And, if you notice, there is no Roman Empire anymore. And, there is no English Empire anymore either. Nor is there an "Iron Wall" or USSR.
Life and creations on this planet are transitory. The good and the bad all eventually come and eventually go. Do not think that what we have had and what so many of us have come to take for granted in this country cannot go away. History tells us differently. What happens from this point on, as always, depends on what we decide to do both individually and collectively.

I really hope that everything turns out great. But what I hope for and what I expect are on two different scales. And my hopes are always higher than my expectations.

Could not have said it better myself Steve. And I'm not from the midwest, I am an upstate New York boy, and I see it happening here, my whole life I have seen what those in power do. I have not the power to stop them, but its not them I want to stop, its the American public, I wish they would wake up and ascert their rights to stop them.

Reply to This

You and I are the American public that are waking up. Now that we know what can be done, let's stop talking and start doing it. Read my plan to save America and pass it to those you voted into office.

Fred;
You still did not answer what you would do about the twenty million illegals in this country. I write letters/emails to my elected officials every week about that problem and I have posited a lot of ideas about the solution. I have written pages of stuff on the issue here on P. P. and most of it has not been a rant or a rage. The energy/economic problems will not be solved until we control our borders and stop giving jobs public assistance etc.to illegals and stop buying foreign materials. Especially with our tax dollars.
The P. P. is about saving billions of dollars by not buying foreigh oil. The Steve Plan is to stop exporting our money and jobs to foreign countries. sounds like the same thing to me.

Steve, I do not have an answer that would solve the illegal alien problem because there are so many American businesses that hire illegals so they don't have to pay minimum wages to them. So long as there are opportunities for work offered to them, they will continue to come here.

Here in the Northwest, trees are still being cut down for wood products, but the mills have closed down. Logging now supports foreign buyers who make products from the wood we export and then import those products back to us. And you want government to do what? Tell as company they cannot send jobs overseas? They have to build here in America or what? Pay extra tariffs, pay higher taxes, make it so staying here and paying factory workers union wages is more desirable than overseas factories?

What we need is alternative jobs here in America, and alternative energy will provide millions of new permanent jobs here in the US. It will lower the cost of living for Americans, put more capital in their pockets, clean the environment, and make our infrastructure safe from terrorist sabotage.

The individual states that border Mexico need to take responsibility to protect their borders. If the US government is not capable or willing to address the problem, then it is up to the people in those border states to do something about it. Build a fence, a wall, patrol the area with citizen watch teams to report breaches and illegal attempts of crossing our border without proper authorization, needs to be handled at the local level. When enough incidents are reported in the media, the government will be "embarrassed" into action.

I worked in IT for many years and watched as so many technical support jobs went to India. Now when you have a hardware or software issue, you have to speak with someone that hardly speaks English, they have very heavy accents that make it difficult to understand them even when they do speak English well enough. I don't but those products anymore and have written to their corporate offices explaining why.

You are right in that we have a problem, but I disagree with the solution. I feel that government meddling has allowed the globalization of corporations to get this far, and it will take more than a few voices to reverse the trend. But we have the power of boycott, and if we stop buying a product, using a service, otherwise contributing to the companies that outsource, they will lose in the long run.

Many companies that did move overseas to save manufacturing costs were surprised to find that with soaring fuel prices, bringing those foreign made products back into the US was as costly as making them here in the first place. The way to get the attention of these corporations is to hit them in the wallet. If they think government can help them out of that one, they are surely mistaken. Congress won't mandate what we can buy and where will they?

I think, and note I am only speaking for myself, that this administration is going to rock! I think that this issue is front and center and there is no way that we are going to blow up or fall off a cliff if we don't get it done in the first 100 days.
We are the people. And WE spoke on election day. Let's let the dust settle on this plan and continue to push for the Pickens Plan. They ARE listening... but there is so much hullabullu going on, few can actually hear what they are saying. I am confident that the Pickens Plans will become a reality. I am confident that all of us who share the devotion that T. Boone Pickens has will see the plan become a new lifestyle for Americans. Patience is a virtue.. We will
win this fight on foreign oil. Count on it!

Fred;
It's obvious that you have not been to the border recently or kept up on the attempts to get the situation in hand.

First of all it is only a federal problem. The constitution requires that they control the borders and they just ignore the problem. The counties and states have no legal authority to detain or arrest people for immigration violations. When they see illegals entering the country they call the appropriate federal authorities and no one shows up. When illegals are arrested for other crimes the locals call ICE and are told to put them in local jails until their time is up and then turn them loose.
Citizen watch groups have went to the borders to report to ICE and border patrol when illegals cross over and they have been branded as racist groups by the government and prosecuted if they try to interfere with the illegals in any way. Border patrol agents have been jailed for shooting illegal drug dealers who crossed the border and tried to run the officers over with their van. The Media? Give me a break. The media refuses to report on the problems on the border as they want the open borders policy. Those few that actually try to report the truth lose their jobs.

Your premise is that the feds can not solve the problem. My premise is that they are the problem or at the very best are causing the problem to be worse than it already is.The feds refuse to enforce the immigration laws and they refuse to prosecute businesses that hire the illegals.

That brings us right back to the issue of the stimulus package. The one thing that Bush was forced into doing right was to put into place an E-verify system to be able to find out if people are allowed to work here and if their social security number was proper. The purpose of this was to insure that illegal aliens could not get jobs in this country. The requirement to e-verify was taken out of the bill in order for illegals to be able to get jobs under the stimulus bill. There was also a provision to require that all products used in the stimulus package money would be of American origin. This was stripped out of the bill at the insistance of China and Europe and foreign products are on an equal footing with American products.

So we now have a bill that was sold to us as providing American jobs and stimulating the American economy turned into one that provides illegals with jobs and stimulates the Chinese and European economies. My grandchildren will be paying for this fiasco and it makes me a little mad.

I have a real suspicion that this is part of a broader plot by the super rich of the world to control the American people and get us to work for the slave wages offered in the third world.

If you don't khow the answer, then find out, don't guess. Because I have studied this issue. If you really want to find out try starting at stratfor.com.

Steve,

It appears to me that you are laying out enough pieces on the table to indicate that the ongoing problems our country has been experiencing with not being able to control the onslaught of illegal immigrants into this country is obviously not a circumstance of gross ineptitude. Not that many people that often can be that inept. On the contrary, the pieces you have just set out on the table indicate effective management of a deliberate plan with a deliberate objective.

Reply to This

I'm glad that someone else see's it. I was beginning to wonder if I was off my rocker. Of course maybe I am.

Reply to This

The incredibility of it all is what safeguards the plan. People see the pieces, connect the dots and arrive at the obvious conclusion....then they shake their heads and decide that they must be nuts! And, if they do muster up enough courage to share their observations and conclusions with anyone they're met with rolling eyes and disbelief. Because, after all, you're talking conspiracy and "everyone knows" people who talk conspiracy theories are fruit cakes. And the fact that such is the case is no accident either.

The current situation (to us its a situation) with illegal aliens being able to so easily enter our country and then remain in our country and thrive in our country will not be changing unless, of course, there is a change in the master plan (whatever the heck that might be).

BTW, you are off your rocker! :0)

Steve & Monte -

Steve, you are beginning to "see the light" and Monte, you are right on track (but you already know that). Back in the goldwter-Johnson campaign there was a visionary conservative - don't have his name - who wrote a book titled "None Dare Call it Treason" whick dealt with the rise of the One-World org. and its effect on us. Great efforts were made to squaxh this book incouding financial attacks on a number of publishers who tried to publish the book. The author finally published it himself. I doubt if you will find a copy but if you do, it was 1/3 documentation and will give you a new perspective on the situation we are in now. There was a sequel titled "None Dare Call it Conspiracy" whick I believe was successfully suppressed.

There are many of us who share the conclusions you have just come to. The main difference between "us" and "them" is they are organized. Keep up your research and talk about it. Our only defense is truth and action. We have the authority via the Constitution to do so, until they change that.

And you are surely not off your rocker.
