Portsmouth, NJ

There was an item on one of the news/talk shows this morning about Portsmouth NJ and what they are trying to do with wind power.
Schools, town buildings etc use a lot of electricity and they are trying to lower the bill to half what it is now. They want to put a farm off the coast but they will have to get permission from Fed Government.
They did show some wind turbines on land and the reporter tried to explain how they made electricity but didn't do a good job. Someone who doesn't know how they work would not know much more.
The mayor invited people to come see what they are doing.
I seems like there are more and more reports about alternate electric power. A woman called one and wanted to know about electric cars and if they would be buried like they were last time.
